Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already.

[Faye arrives early, which isn't normal for her, but she's been itching for something to do now that she's just waiting on glados to come up with some news on Gold. She flops into a chair and pulls out her phone, ignoring the door for the most part.]

[You can ignore the door Faye but can you ignore the loud slurping of somebody drinking a frozen coke? Kenzi is here, also on her phone, not texting anyone but maybe, definitely, playing Soda Crush.

[Cora wanders in and glances between the two options in front of her - it's no surprise that she chooses the side with Faye just to get away from the incredibly annoying Soda Crush noises. Wolf ears. She's not going to torture herself by sitting right next to it.

She flops into the chair next to Faye, pulling her legs up so that she's sitting cross-legged in the seat and quietly waits for Wynn. Shockingly she has nothing to contribute to the conversation but ... more silence.]

[Faye shoots Kenzi a look of mild disgus But she is thankful that cora is quiet at leastt.]

I must. [Punctuated by another loud slurp of her drink before she sets it down on the table, gaze flickering up as others enter the room but mostly focusing on the game.]

Candy Crush, the Soda version - which is awesome cause trust me when you hit level 365 on Saga each level is like bashing your head against a friggen wall.

We've received reports from a small village in Poland called Aurasburg, that the town is being terrorized by a witch, that they are ill-equipped to deal with. They'd like our assistance in tracking down and stopping this witch - perhaps finding out why she has targeting the town in question.

[Faye balks visibly. Look even if she doesn't call herself a witch here, she still knows that magic users go by a lot of things.]

So you want us to grab some pitchforks and burn her?

I imagine that might be what the townsfolk opt to do, if left to their own devices. I'm hoping that we can bring a more reasonable hand to the table.

[She nods and sits back, seeming at least a little satisfied by that answer.]

[Cora doesn't really have a whole lot of experience with magic but given certain issues she has, she feels the need to ask:]

How is she terrorizing them? What kind of spells?

[Just to be sure it's not, you know, with fire.]

[Yeah Kenzi has nothing to add. She just straightens at the mention of witches cause last time she encountered one of those it was Baba Yaga and she maybe peed her pants a little.]

From the accounts I've heard, livestock have been mauled and mutilated, acquaintances of the suspected witch contracted some sort of wasting disease, as well as other unexplained incidents.

[ to tdiddle ] I'm not certain what their stance on magic in general is, but as long as you prove you are doing what you can to save lives, not endanger them, I hope they will be reasonable.

I'm sure we can play nice. [She arches an eyebrow, curious if anyone else but tdiddle and herself have magic.] Besides, I'm sure we can handle one witch

[Cora definitely does not have magic. But she does have claws.

She just won't show them to the villagers unless she has to. She also makes a face at the livestock mutilation though.]

Are we sure she's alone? There hasn't been a sign of anyone else?

One of the town leaders contacted us, a man named Hagel Hansford. I imagine that would be the best place to start.
