OPEN - (1: Natasha setting up blind dates for Steve Rogers / 2: dates with Steve Rogers)

1). PART ONE is: Natasha Romanoff + any ladies in particular of the castle who are at least over 18. (Please read this for more details, including how to sign up.)

2). PART TWO is: Steve Rogers + his dates!

WHAT || If you specified that you wanted to play out the initial interaction with Natasha, this is what is happening in the first part of this log. The second part of the log is the actual dates!

There will be a thread starter (edit: here now! ) for the initial interaction with Natasha (I'd rather multi-thread this than have it single thread, for the sake of my sanity). Jesse, however, is the guy to talk to about starters for the dates with Steve.

WHERE || In and around the castle, with Natasha. For Steve, anywhere the date is happening.
WHEN || Natasha and Steve talked again at the April after party, so we can say this is ... May/June? I can adjust if needed, however.
HOW || Prose or action.

So this is the best date. Which is either because it's the only date Kali's ever been on or because it's a date that consists of climbing! Which is something she's good at!

(This is all very exciting.)

She's practically vibrating with anticipation, looking up at the walls and scooping the scene for Steve. She has Malina's snapchats to go on so she knows who she is looking for and when he arrives she bounds over to him like an over-caffeinated poodle.

"Hi, I'm Kali."

Steve had planned this once Natasha had given him some information to go by. It seemed like a good fit. If she wasn't interested they could always wander the city and look for something else the both of them could enjoy. He figured a little physical activity couldn't hurt the both of them today.

He wasn't exactly expecting her to be this excited though. Or energetic. He can handle it though. He's seen worse. When you pump caffeine into Tony he can get pretty jittery. Steve's brows raise and he smiles at her. "Hi, Kali." He holds his hand out. "I'm Steve. You okay with this place?"

She's like a puppy dog!

Which is funny, considering.

"Hi." Her grip is firm, but probably not enough to do anything to Steve. "I am, it looks fun! Are we going to actually climb or were we just meeting here?"

He apparently had hit the nail on the head with this date idea. He feels a little more confident about this place now that she's expressed this much excitement. He's all smiles. "Yeah. I figured we'd climb." He doesn't know why anyone would choose this place as a meetup place when they could actually climb and have fun. "A race sound good? I'm big, but I'm pretty fast."

"Sure, that would be fun." She glances around like... hmm. "Should we get harnesses?"

She's preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty sure she doesn't need one, but she's also not supposed to go around flaunting that she can leap like a lion or a monkey and just bound around wildly like a human lab rat.

Harnesses would probably be good. He knows that he doesn't need one though. He's done bigger climbs than this without them. "I don't think I need one." There's still the possibility that the people in charge here might make them wear one. He's hoping to slide by that though. He doesn't appreciate all the bunching and riding up. He'd prefer to not use one. Steve's already moving to lead them over to an open wall. "Do you want me to find you one?" A harness that is.

"Oh no, I'm sure I'll be fine." She strides after him, having to take a couple steps just to match one of his since the height difference between them is almost comical. He is literally a foot taller than her!

"Have you been here before?"

"No. But it's not the first wall I've had to scale without a harness." Which is incredibly helpful. This one has hand holds and everything. Not a lot of actual climbing areas do. You sort of have to improvise if you're doing it on the fly. "How much experience do you have?" He asks looking up the wall to judge the distance.

[felidity]

"Nearly twenty years," she answers with a shrug, flicking her ponytail over her shoulder. This is notable because she can't be more than twenty one, herself, so there is clearly some disconnect there.

Weird.

"I'm very agile."

He didn't expect that, but it's not like his story is anywhere even remotely close to normal. He can't judge that. He figures there's a story there, but she didn't elaborate so he doesn't go trying to pry into her life. "Well, I'm looking forward to see what you got." He grins and nods to the wall. "You wanna count us off?"

"Sure!" She brightens, somehow, and gives the countdown. "Three, two, one... Go!"

And she's off like a rocket, leaping up the wall like a monkey and scrabbling up as fast as she can. Which is actually pretty fast. (jump 29, climb 24) She seems to have absolutely no trouble with finding handholds, even if she has to jump for them, absolutely fearless dangling from her fingertips before she heaves herself up to the next hand hold like some kind of Jacob's ladder until she finds a foot hold again.

Clearly not her first rodeo.

Steve's big. This is true. He's built with some heft to him, but that doesn't really hold him back. He doesn't hesitate to scramble up the climbing wall after Kali (jump 35, climb 31). This is something he can do. Something that feels familiar for him. Steve's always felt a little more comfortable on a mission. Missions are what he's used to. Dating? Dating's a new ballgame that he's still trying to get his head around. Women aren't something that Steve is really well versed in.

He beats her by a fair margin, but she doesn't seem fussed when she reaches him at the top, glowing with energy and cheer.

"That was fun!"

Once they both reach the top Steve lets himself relax a little up there. He does still keep a grip on the holds. He doesn't need to rocket down to the ground. Kali doesn't seem bothered by Steve beating her which helps Steve breath a sigh of relief. She actually just looks excited to be climbing which has Steve smiling too. "It was fun!" He says. "It's kinda nice to just get out of the castle and be active."
