2). PART TWO is: Steve Rogers + his dates!

WHAT || If you specified that you wanted to play out the initial interaction with Natasha, this is what is happening in the first part of this log. The second part of the log is the actual dates!

There will be a thread starter (edit: here now! ) for the initial interaction with Natasha (I'd rather multi-thread this than have it single thread, for the sake of my sanity). Jesse, however, is the guy to talk to about starters for the dates with Steve.

WHERE || In and around the castle, with Natasha. For Steve, anywhere the date is happening.
WHEN || Natasha and Steve talked again at the April after party, so we can say this is ... May/June? I can adjust if needed, however.
HOW || Prose or action.

[ not only does steve get two ladies on this date... he gets a very newborn baby. :) look, vi is just really attached and felicity isn't much better and if they're going on a platonic date, then they might as well bring the kiddo. which is why vi and felicity are loitering with a teeny light creamsicle orange hued two week old infant trying desperately to hold her head up against vi's shoulder.

when he arrives, vi isn't subtle about noticing either, reaching out to nudge felicity roughly. ] Oh, he's here! Holy shit, he is gorgeous.

[ that was definitely loud enough for steve to hear. ]

[Felicity found out she was invited on a date this morning, when Vi informed her that it was a thing that was happening. They both know it's not an actual date - they're both spoken for in different ways - but it's fun to at least hang out with each other and with a pretty boy.

They both could use a night out, one way or another.

She had been busy making faces at Lucia when Steve came in, so she looks up and follows the direction of Vi's eyes before her eyes widen a bit.]

He is the guy who had a hard time finding a date?

[ Steve isn't entirely sure what to really expect. It's not like he goes on many dates. He had a few back in DC, but they never seemed to go right. Things never clicked together into place for him. Then his life sort of went into hyperspeed and dating became a thing of the past. It's really hard to date hunting for the scepter. Especially dealing with the HYDRA bases.

He breezes into PING and looks more than a little nervous. What the girls will see is he stops at the window for a moment to look himself over. Then turns to hunt down his potential date. Judging by the way Vi and Felicity are looking at him he might have found her.

Steve comes to a stop in front of them looking slightly confused. ] You brought a friend. [ He smiles. ] And a baby. Alright. I can handle this. [ He sticks out a hand. ] Steve Rogers.

[ she gapes for a minute like w o w. ]

Hello. [ let her brain work again, give her a sec. ] Um, hi. Yeah. Hey. I'm Vi, this is Felicity, the baby is Lucia. I sort of set Felicity up, but she didn't want a date, so surprise group thing so it won't be awkward.

[ a beat. ] This feels awkward. I think I made it awkward. Hi.

It's not awkward.

[Or at least it doesn't have to be. She glances back to Steve as she shakes his hand to make sure he's okay with this.]

I'm seeing someone, she has a baby - this can just be a platonic friend date. No pressure, right?

[ He's not entirely certain what to say, but he finally nods. He could use friends. It's probably a little easier on Steve knowing this doesn't have any romantic entanglements following it around.

Steve finishes shaking Felicity's hand and leans down to look at the baby. ]

Hiya. [ He smiles and looks up at Vi. ] She's beautiful. Like her mom.

[ Steve nods finally. The fact that the baby looks like a little orange creamsicle doesn't seem to bother him. ]

You guys play ping pong much? Someone told me this place was pretty fun.

[ steve called her baby beautiful, he can stay. gently adopts him. ]

I used to be a professional in another life. [ she's obviously kidding, but the girl has got quite the bow arm to back up her statement. ]

Not as much as I used to, but I think I can pick it up again.

[She shrugs as she looks at the table.]

Kind of like riding a bike, right?

[ He knows that professional ping pong players exist, but he still laughs when she insists she used to be one. Steve starts to lead them towards a table though. Happy to take point. ]

I mean--I could play the both of you. If you wanna stick together that is. We can just say Lucia is on my team. In spirit.

I mean, if you wanna play whilst holding Lu, I can definitely say you will become the most popular guy here. [ steve + baby is by default the sexiest thing in the room. ] You wanna take her, boss?

[Felicity steps back and nods her agreement. That seems fair to her. If anything they could always break off and switch things up with each other later.]

It sounds fair to me.

[ Steve takes a moment to think it over and then nods. He steps towards Vi and takes the baby in his arms. He smiles down at her and then looks up at them. ]

Dunno 'bout most popular, but it'll be embarrassing for you two when we kick your butts. [ Old fashion smack talk. ] Let's do this.

[And with that they will play an awesome game of ping pong! And we will let these guys fade and pick them up in the aftermath shenanigans. /scene]
