[ No sooner had Gold been returned to the castle after a trying ordeal with Lila and Faye, than Wynn received a phone call alerting him to a situation occurring in the heart of London.  Having called for an emergency mission briefing, Wynn gathers together a team to deal with this threat....  ]

Already? [ She looks fleetingly surprised, then discouraged. Glancing around the wing, she seems not quite finished with what she was finally heartened enough to get back to—curse research—and return to the lake. But turning back to Hook, she nods. ] Yeah, alright. Just give me a second. [ she strips off her jacket to leave it behind so it doesn't get water damage. ]

[If there's anything Killian understands, it's taking care of your jacket. That's important.]

Any progress today?

[uncurse]

No.

[ Flatly, discontent, but she takes a deep breath to try to quell that urge towards anger. ]

Sorry. It's late, I— [ She's trying. ]

[unhand]

It's all right. [He touches her arm.] Let's get you out there. [Before it gets worse.]

[uncurse]

[ She nods, tearing herself finally away from her work at the touch of his hand. She moves with him for the door. ]

[ BOOM ]

[Hook's balance check of 17 is enough to keep him on his feet, his hand immediately going to steady Emma.]

Bloody hell! What?

[uncurse]

[ Emma topples over, tumbling to the ground as the blast rocks the castle (ref 10). She grabs for Hook as she falls, but with no success. ]

[Killian stoops to give her a hand up, looking around warily.]

Whatever that is, it's terribly timed. Are you doing all right?

[Are you going to turn into a terrible sea monster and make everything worse??]

[uncurse]

[ Emma recoils from his hand, a heavy pulse like Jumanji drums beating in the back of her mind putting on the pressure to get to the water or burst out like a rage monster. ]

No. It's happening. [ She clutched one hand to her head. ]

[unhand]

[Then who gives a crap about what's happening in the castle. He grabs her and pulls her to her feet (str 16).]

We're getting you out to the lake, now.

[And as he says that, Malina and Wanda come their way, Harry floating over their heads as they come down the hall. She spots Emma and Hook and starts to make her way closer.]

You two okay?

[uncurse]

I don't know.

[ The admission pains her to make, but she brushes it off and turns her attention to Malina and the others, grinding her jaw to hold back the flickering rage. The transformation is still a ways off, waiting for full dark, but the other effects are filtering in. ]

What's going on out there?

[unhappily]

[ HEY LOOK WHO ELSE IS POKING HER HEAD OUT ] I was just wondering the same thing.

[divaricate]

Whatever it was, knocked me off my feet. [yeah she has no idea either.]

We're not going to find out standing around here. We need to get outside.

[And to the water ideally. He's worried about Emma. But any movement is better than standing around.]

No argument here. I don't think the castle is all that steady right now.

[She glances around, before turning her head towards where most of the noise is coming from.]

Looks like most of the trouble is in the front. We should try and see if we can get out the back.

[ The sounds of battle and destruction persist, and Emma grabs onto Hook's hand. ]

Now. [ She agreed, pushing out of the room. They might want to get outside for safety, but Emma has much bigger reasons. ]

[Do u know what Emma finds in that hall? It's her ex. Hi. He's a bit banged up because he bombed his balance check but no worse for wear. Blinking, he sort of looks over each of them.]

Emma? What's going on?

You two know each other? [KILLIAN DIDN'T... ACTUALLY KNOW THAT.]

[unhappily]

[ regina rolled so low on a keep her mouth shut check so she just pipes up with customary irritated snappiness: ] Biblically. Apparently.

[Killian gives Emma a look like babe I'm trying to not be jealous but when and why were you boning my surrogate son.]
