Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already somehow.

[Kate makes her way in with a cup of coffee, before sliding into one of the empty seats. There's a bit of nervousness as she sits, fingers drumming against the sides of her coffee cup as she considers the powers she has yet to really say she can control, but she's been practicing, so hopefully if there's a need to use them, she'll be ready.

But for now she'll just wait for the rest of the team to arrive.]

[ The Doctor arrives, clapping his hands together as he steps in and finds himself a spot to lean up against a wall. ]
Right then. What have we got this time?

Something with less dragons, I hope. [ cordelia gives kate a knowing look as she enters on that note, taking a seat a couple down from her ]

[Kate smiles softly before nodding her agreement.]

I will definitely second that. I've had enough dragons to last me a lifetime.

[ Alec is just happy to be anywhere where Malina can't get to him and light him on fire then turn around and call it "training". That's not training, Malina, that's attempted murder and everyone knows it. ]

If Manticore got it's hands on the DNA of half the crap that lives here they'd have a damn field day. [ He's arrived. He plucks a chair next to Kate and grins. ]

[Kate is just going to eye Alec for a moment over her cup of coffee, brow furrowing for a moment, before inching in her chair just slightly so that she's leaning away from him a bit more.

This should be interesting.]

I don't suppose Wynn is seeing fit to send us all somewhere scenic this time. I could use with some sea air. [ the drow makes his way in on that note, taking a seat on the other side of kate as he glances over the assembled ]

Oh yes I'm sure we're going somewhere with a lovely beach where we can build sandcastles and eat sticks of rock.

[Kate smirks before giving a small shrug.]

I wouldn't say no to a little sun and surf. Though I haven't heard of a lot of missions that get to go to the beach.

It seems like just playing the odds eventually something evil would have to hit Palm Springs.

[ While they're all talking about fun in the sun Alec has taken his phone out and has decided that he needs to send Malina pictures of him here. Because fuck you, mom, he's going on a mission. He sends her this because he's a shitty, shitty squire. The caption reads "you weren't invited, grandma". ]

[To which Malina responds with the cheery face of her flipping him the bird. It's followed up wth the text: "stay safe and don't give your teammates reason to shoot you." #bestmentor]

And I would definitely take it over somewhere rainy and cold. You're right. Odds could play in our favor eventually.

[Phineas awkwardly ambles in, but he brought snacks!]

Uhm... I made cookies.

[They look putrid - but somehow they're actually pretty tasty.]

They're dragon-shaped. [Kind of. Like the Reese's blobs are "tree-shaped".]

[ cordelia looks at those v skeptically ] ... I'll pass.

[ and in comes wynn a few moments later, taking mental stock of them all ]

Thank you all for coming. A few of you have had prior experience with the mission you'll be embarking on, but there are a few new faces as well. [ and he nods at alec and the doc ] For the last couple of years, a few local establishments have been receiving strange packages that are marked from "PTC", an untraceable sender, and which contain dangerous monsters that have wreaked havoc when they escaped.

The last episode occurred in Manchester, where a club owner spoke with some of the gathered Knights, admitting he believed that PTC was seeking a way to end a business arrangement they had had. He identified them as a Trade Consortium, one that had been providing him with a certain difficult to acquire Shadow World nectar. He identified a man named Estavan as the Executive Officer of the Consortium, and explained that several important partners of the group were attempting to wrest control from him and perhaps targeting those who remained loyal to him.

He explained that Estavan owns a home in the suburbs of London but said that it might be some time before he could receive an answer from Mr. Estavan about meeting. This man, Keerianinor Ken'lyl, has finally seen fit to contact us.

[ Of course Wynn comes in when Alec has a cookie half in his mouth. That would be just about right. He tries to focus more on Wynn and not the cookie because this is important shit. He speaks before he can really control that big mouth of his (will save 4). ] They're like fucked up Jack in the Boxes. [ Sorry, Wynn. ] Is this dude calling us in to clean up his mess? Is that the way I'm understanding this? We're being called because this guy makes really awful friends?

[And Kate just gives Alec a look like no.]

We're being called so that innocent people don't get mauled by dragons just because they happened to be in the wrong club at the wrong time.

[That being said, she turns back to Wynn.]

Did he give us a time and place?

[monticora]

[ Alec snorts quietly to himself. ]

Bettin' they were up to no good in that club. [ Mumbling to himself because no one in this world is innocent. Alec, don't be so jaded. ]

[wynn]

Ken'lyl waited all this time to inform us that Mr. Estavan has decided he does not require - and it's implied, desire - our assistance.

To that end, we're going to have to handle this matter less diplomatically, it seems. We've located his estate, and had it under surveillance for a few days. It seems that the owner may be out of town, at the moment, and I believe we may find information within his estate that will help us get to the bottom of this.

[Kate nods slowly. She would have preferred not to have to break in, but better to stop the shipments than let them keep coming.]

Do we know what his security is going to be like?

[wynn]

He has no contract with any outside security firm, so any security will be internal. We haven't seen any visible cameras on the exterior.

[monticora]

Hell yes. A break in. I can do some quick last minute recon if you want? I'm faster than any lame ass camera that dude has.

[ He used to kill people. He used to steal from people. Breaking in somewhere is like back to basics for Alec. He misses it. ]

[wynn]

I will leave that to your discretion, but you may wish to discuss the matter with Sir Beckett. Given she was team lead on the last leg of this matter, it seems appropriate for her to continue.

[She is more than comfortable taking that.]

Can we have any of the information you've gained from the surveillance? Blueprints, schedules, things like that?

[wynn]

[ he sets down a manila envelope for them to pass around containing surveillance photos ] The estate sits at the end of a private road in the middle of a suburban neighborhood where the property lines are generously spaced and the neighbors can't easily be seen or heard. The large, two-story mansion is set far back from the road. A tall fence of heavy iron bars surrounds the property, and a massive iron fence surrounds the house. It is 12 feet high, with bars spaced too closely together to be squeezed through. A thin wire running across it seems to indicate that the fence is electrified.

The house itself has a front and back entrance, and plenty of windows for entrance. A padlocked door seems to lead to a type of cellar entrance.

This is all we have.

[Kate nods as she looks over the pictures for a moment, before passing them on to the rest of the team.]

Will we have time to do some surveillance ourselves? Gauge the patterns of the neighbors just to be on the safe side?

[monticora]

[ Alec leans over first to get his hands on those photos. He scans through them and frowns. He's a little bummed they didn't catch this dude doing something bad. He does however slide them away from himself for whoever wants next. ]

I'm totally okay with leaping over that fence if need be.

[wynn]

We're not certain how long he'll be out of the manor yet. I believe the time for us to strike is as soon as possible.

[allaboutme]

So what are we waiting for?

[Kate nods her agreement, before glancing to Wynn.]

We'll head over there and see if we can get in as soon as possible.

[ Such sarcasm as he smirks. ]
