[ Klaus has had a few days to get sort of the lay of the land so to speak. But today there's an insistent banging on his door at 5am, accompanied by cheery whistling. ]

Can I help you?

"Now that you mention it, you could try back in another three hours," before closing the door was probably not the best way to greet the man who he had been squired to. By the time Thomas is finished bowing, Klaus has a adopted a much more amicable expression.]
You can call me Klaus. [Was he expected to invite this peasant inside? Because he isn't...]

[When you are used to living like a King you generally set your own schedule. Even so, Klaus had a tendency to be an early riser but this was just ridiculous. Oh the joys of being a daywalking vampire werewolf hybrid.]

I'll need a few minutes to get dressed.

And yes, he probably makes him wait a little longer than is necessary before opening the door again, and emerging properly dressed for the day.]
Where to?

[At least he's playing along. It was probably a good idea to get a tour from someone who wasn't Faye anyway.]

The dungeon?

Is that how you charm all of your new squires? At the very least, I should think I'm entitled to dinner first.

[Although Klaus will be on high alert the entire time. He was paranoid enough to consider that this might all have been some elaborate ruse to get him to place himself somewhere they may have found it difficult to try and force him. Feel free to note the way he doesn't turn his back on the Dragon's Claw--because he won't be doing it of his own free will.]

[Except that wasn't entirely true (bluff: 13). Klaus had retained most of his memory, though for him the farther things went back into the past the better he was able to recall them. His family, for instance, remained one of his clearest memories after his having passed through the veil.]
I was fairly certain that you'd have been given any information on me prior to my joining. [Like that little mess he made upon arrival. Whoops.]
