Being friends with someone as spontaneous as Faith can have its perks. She's invited the entire under-30 crowd at the castle to come celebrate her friend Andie's 21st birthday at an exclusive dance club called the Silver Band in downtown London.
The club is swirling with colors, as disco balls reflect silvery light that catches on the large quantities of glitter that cover just about every surface. The main dance floors are made of transparent glass, and the club is multi-storied, so that you can choose to dance higher up and see everyone below under your feet. Below the ground floor is a strange black canopy that seems to reflect odd flickering lights, almost like stars. There's a sort of classic opulence to the decor, and hallways branch off here and there to private rooms out of sight. Floating lights bob around the ceiling, that look almost like crystalline balls, except they're light as bubbles and can pop when touched.
Strangely, there are cobwebs in various areas of the club, mostly out of reach, as if it hasn't had occasion to be cleaned in awhile, but there's no traces of grime or dirt anywhere. Faith has a private room procured off one of the halls for the mini-buffet, because how can it be Andie's birthday without food??

[Of course, like Rose, Elena would likely go wherever she was asked but the brunette who took the drink from Elena and wasted no time in starting to drink, still enjoyed the idea that Elena might be around the Castle for a while.]

That's close to what Vi said, too. [She sighs, though, lightly shrugging her shoulders and taking another sip of her drink.] Not very many people around here actually know me, though. They're going to think what they want unless I prove them otherwise.

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?! We don't wait for them to sprout a second head and even if they did, I didn't think anyone would really care.

It's not the same, Rose. [If she were...an elf or a troll or the child of a goddess or something, that would be accepted in a heartbeat.] For fun, I impersonated Wynn and held a mock squiring ceremony for Vi. Gar was convinced I was actually him until someone told her. I could...do a lot of damage with that, and everyone knows it.

That's almost as amazing as the time Lila misfired, the bullet ricocheted and she somehow ended up disarming herself when the bullet hit her gun.
[Eh. Not quite as awesome as Elena bitch-slapping her but amusing all the same.]
And - [See. Not forgotten.] Who is Archer and why do we care if a Hooker is all up in his face?
[But for Rose? It's exactly the same, her nose wrinkling as she shakes her head.]
No. Somebody else could do a lot of damage with something like that but you're not somebody else. You're Elena. [To Rose, it really was that simple.] You're exactly the same person they trusted to bring into the - [Stupid being in public.] - club. I don't see how anything has changed.

He's loud, sometimes obnoxious, impulsive, uncouth, and he's also saved my life enough times that I've lost count.
[In other words, he's gotten under her skin, and she's not sure she should have let that happen oops.]
