Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already.  Wynn is already here when you arrive.

[David is first to show up, mostly because he has nothing better to do than to show up for missions. He nods to Wynn on his arrival, and immediately finds a seat.

And then he sits quietly, because why make idle chatter when you can just loom silently.]

[alex ... is early???? that never happens. he takes a seat, looks between david and wynn, and ... finding nothing but more silence, pulls out his phone. /plays the most social characters.]

[Natasha is just going to slide in and take a seat. Apparently this is a quiet briefing.]

Are these things always this quiet?

[That's right, she just broke the silence chain.]

[There's a slight smirk at that, before raising an eyebrow.]

Not when there's something to say.

Fair enough. [She nods slightly.] Awkward silence it is.

Who's being awkward? Was it me? Am I late?

[Don't mind Andie, she's just... got a poor sense of time due to being super fast. You probably didn't see her come in. She takes a seat next to David, since he's the one she knows, and looks around, beaming at the other people at the table.]

Later than us. [he smiles, teasing.] Alex.

You haven't missed anything, so probably not late. [She'll just ... go with that logic.] Natasha.

[Which is more for the benefit of the rest of the room than Andie, as they've already worked together before.]

[Well getting here was all quite dramatic, wasn't it? But then he doesn't mind that, nothing wrong with a bit of pomp and ceremony when it calls for it. He's not exactly late when he arrives, but not entirely on time either. He pulls up a free chair and sits down and oh that table is interestingly round-- His head ducks under it a moment before looking at the top. Really, you'd think there was nobody else in the room.

But appearing again, he flicks his hair back from his eyes and grins at the people around him.]

Well this is nice.

[Andie... also looks under the table because she wants to see what he's looking at. Then she pops back up and looks across at him.]

...didja lose something?

and so on. wynn steps forward, laying one hand on the top of the table as he examines the gathered. ]

Thank you all for coming. I understand there has been much talk of late regarding the Andres situation, yet we cannot afford to keep all our focus there, when so many continue to need our help across the globe. To that means, I'll be sending you to New Delhi, where we've heard of the existence of a very powerful - and very dangerous - artifact.

It is called the Decanter of Dionysus, and drinking any liquid poured from it causes one to fall under the thrall of its owner.

[The look on David's face could probably best be described as "you gotta be kidding me." In fact, he may go so far as to even say it.

Under the thrall of ... does that mean mind control?

It does. You might think of it as charming them into thinking the owner is their most trusted friend. They're likely to believe anything they say, or take any suggested course of action they present.

It should go without saying, that you'd be best to avoid imbibing anything at the party you'll be attending.

...does that include food too? [She'll have to pack snacks.]

It's probably a wise choice of action to abstain from both. Your job will be to infiltrate the party, locate the Decanter, and secure it.

And we all have specific assignments within that overall job?

[wynn]

That will be at the discretion of the team. The final say will belong to Sir Levin, as team leader.

[generaldavideus]

[Mind control. Yaaaaaaaaaay. Why is this like the worst hits of David's life prior to falling through the Veil? Regardless if he's worried about that or surprised by the fact that he's team leader it doesn't show (will save 20 total).]

Do we have any information about party? Layout, who's party it is, what we know about them?

[wynn]

It's being hosted by a man named Shulin Desai, a rather wealthy man who has these parties monthly in his large estate. We've no blueprints, but we do know that Shulin inherited most of his wealth from his parents, and has used it finance 'tomb raids' of a sort, of Shadow locations that fall through to this world - the odd crypt or castle. It's likely that this is where he acquired the Decanter.

[The Doctor has been mostly sitting there listening, absorbing the information, trying not to leap into things without thinking about it first. It's a process.]

Right. New Delhi. Love a curry.

I take it this bloke knows what he's got and exactly what it can do?

[he was going to keep his commentary to himself ... but nope can't stop his dumb mouth sometimes.] Sounds like an amateur Indiana Jones. An evil amateur Indiana Jones, even.

[David has no idea who this Indiana Jones guy is. Maybe it's something else the Veil took away (pop culture 6). He's just going to drag this conversation right back on point.]

Do we have a cover?

It seems you won't need one to be invited - his parties are well advertised, and open to anyone who hears about them. If you wish to establish a cover in case anyone asks too many questions, you may do so among yourselves.

It's probably a pretty fancy party though, right? I mean, rich guy.

[ wynn nods ] Most of the guests will likely be affluent. You may wish to dress accordingly.

[SO IT'S A GATSBY PARTY. no alex keeps that comment to himself that time.] Anything else we need to know?

Well I've been known to brush up alright. [ He grins. No really, did anyone see his togs at the party the other day? I mean come on now.

He looks towards Alex, brow raised ]

[he stares over at the doctor with his head resting against the palm of his hand like really bitch????] That's why I asked.

That would be all. Unless you have any questions for me.

[Everything's all good on David's end. They can do recon for the venue and he can ascertain everyone's skill sets on the plane. He likes to have a plan, after all. But he'll just stay silent and wait to see if there's anything from anyone else.]
