CLOSED ♔ knighting ceremonies
WHO || Wynn, Dovan, Koraith, Hasmed, Lis'sa, Solace, graduating squires, various members of the Knighthood, invited guests [closed]
WHAT || Full Knighting ceremonies for various squires
WHERE || Knight's Headquarters, the Great Hall
WHEN || Late September BACKDATED
HOW || Actionspam
Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.
The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.
"Please kneel."
((Given the large amount of promotions occurring, we will not be doing individual posts/parties for each. Instead, please there are top comments on this post for each section's ceremonies, and each section's parties. Feel free to make Drakenet posts or plurks establishing your character's invited guests, and tagging into as much as you would like/handwaving as much as you'd like.))

I think I owe you an apology.

You look nice, Helen.
[It seems like the right way to start things off, make it clear he's not mad.]
No, you don't. I was...not exactly being fair at the time.

I'm glad to see you've decided to join our numbers. I was starting to feel like the other sects had started a campaign that I was unaware of.
[Her own squire went to the Dragon's Tongue okay. And the Doctor too. Damn charismatic jerks.]

Yeah, well, anyone can learn to shoot a gun or hit something with a stick, right?
[Which is the other thing he's pretty good at. Not going to mention that he probably could have gone to the Dragon's Mind, too, if he'd really wanted to.]

I presume you will be continuing your study of the occult and various creatures?

After that, hopefully I can start looking into things that haven't been prodded at before. I don't want to just play catch up forever.

[It might sound like he's just being cheesy or not actually serious, but no really. Faith isn't something he's super used to getting.]
That'd be great. I didn't realize you'd been here so long already.

Yeah, I'd say so. I'll swing by your office sometime and you can show me where you think I should start.
