Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already. Erky is already here when you arrive.

[Thoster's last mission was so weird and terrifying but it resulted in so much god damn treasure, so he's all smiles and whistling a sea shanty as he strolls into the round table room. He flashes Erky a grin as he takes a seat, folding his arms over his chest as he waits for the rest of his crew... er, team.]

Did someone say 'pirate' and 'treasure'? [Max barges in without making noise... at least that much, because you can't barge without making noise.]

Way I hear it, he found a magic compass that led them to a lost city of gold.

Really? [Max glares at Thoster with a pair of judging eyes. The guy does look like a pirate, but not the type who has found that much gold. He expects gold boots, gold swords and fake gold eyepatch. Even a rapper has more bling than this one.] So, you're like the richest guy on earth? Or did you submit your coins for "organizational" purpose?

Kept a few baubles for myself, but aye- we turned most of it in to keep this place running. Wynn seemed to appreciate it quite a bit.

Really? A righteous pirate? [Is this what pirate has become nowadays? Either a treasure hunter who gives money to the rich (wynn really can't be considered poor.) or some guy who gets his games from torrent.] That's no fun. But if that's what makes you happy, good for you. At least, you'll have good karma. [He nods with approval.]

[ after liam joins in, wynn makes his way out ] I'm glad you could all come quickly. Your mission will be taking you to Utah in America.

Sounds exotic. A coastal village, I imagine? [He's gotten so lucky with all of his water based missions lately.]

Too bad, pal. As far as I know, it only gets as wet as a big lake. [know(geography) 16. Play enough games and watch enough TV, you'll be a trivia master.] Unless you call a town near saltwater lake, a coastal village. I think you need to imagine in a different way.

Not quite. [ sorry bro. TIME TO SHOW YOUR RANGE. ] Black Rock, Utah is located miles from any significant city, and far off from any highways or roads.

We have been receiving strange ... messages, that have been coming directly to my personal line, from a woman who claims to need our assistance. The messages are highly laced with static, and she doesn't seem able to hear any responses from this side, meaning it could, potentially, be a recording. Sir Hughes has traced the call to Black Rock, but beyond that, we're uncertain of how she received this number - or if this is some sort of trap.

[He only looks briefly crest fallen before he leans in, curious about this woman who may or may not be in trouble.]

I'm always happy to help someone in need.

[Even better if it's a female someone.]

Assuming that she is, I'm interested to learn who she is and what knowledge she has of us as well.

Sounds easy enough. [He rubs his jaw, thinking about what they might encounter.] Assuming the damsel's real.

So we'll go track her down. Anything else we should know?

There's a suspicious absence of information about Black Rock available. Census information from forty years ago indicates a population of only about three hundred at its height, but more recent years report nothing more than about four dozen or so citizens left.

Some sort of plague, perhaps?

That, or the town stopped turning a profit.

Or the town has turned into home of demon-worshiping cultists who cannibalize every non-believer they meet. [Somebody plays too much games.] I think we need more firepower. [Everything needs more firepower. Why choose subtle and discreet when you can be brutal and forceful?]

You're certainly free to avail yourself of what's in the armory before you depart. Sir Briggard will operate as mission leader.

We'll stock up and find out just what's going on in this land locked town of yours. [Thoster gives a grin and a nod, quickly over the lack of sailing.]

[Max smiles hearing that. Leader does have a nice ring. He has never been one before, inside or outside the Knighthood, but that doesn't mean he'll be a bad one... probably... He'll try not to abuse his position.]
