Cordelia and Steve have gotten together to plan a rather fun party to celebrate Sarandis being taken down. Abbie even managed to grab them a rather awesome band to entertain the guests and everything else was hand picked and decided on by Cordy and Steve. It's not as fancy as a squiring after party, but it's just as fun. The ballroom has been "dressed down" a little to match the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy yourselves!

[ He spares a look down at her hand on his chest and then back up at Cordelia. Studying her quietly as they dance. ]

Can I ask you a question?

[ The humor sorta helps, but at the same time he's nervous so it makes him more nervous. He swallows the lump in his throat and nods. With a smile though. ]

Do you ever--talk about us to other people? [ He's leading up. ]

[ she looks slightly as if she's been caught red-handed tbh ] I-- I mean, it's... come up... Who said something? Was it Alisha? Because I assumed what was said in the girl's bathroom was going to stay in the girl's bathroom... [ oh god she's rambling ]

[ Steve is quiet for a moment as he resists the urge to ask who she called him that to. What even? ]

Okay. I feel like we're talking about two different things. [ He smiles. ] How do you see us?

[ she blinks, s-lo-wly catching on ] ... You mean... us, us?

Think maybe someone did us a solid and got it on video?

I've run into my fair share. Some of them scarier than others.

[There's a pause as she glances around to make sure no one was looking to join them, before shrugging.]

But I've also been that person who's made extreme choices on a mission. So I get where he was coming from.

[She didn't do it quite as gleefully, but she's been that person with blood on her hands.]

[ He asked since two players did limit the options. ]

[And she will settle in and wait for him to deal.]

Sort of. Like apple pies are more summery, and pumpkin is for fall. All kinds of berry pies for Christmas.

[Give him a minute and he could probably think of a pie for every occasion.]

[ He grinned a bit more when he said it. It helped her leaned in he could hear her louder, and he didn't really ever talk that loud. ] Ohh, that's longer than I've been in this world.
