[Kate nods and goes to follow Cordelia towards the door, taking the opposite side of the door on instinct, because once the door opens Cordelia can use the door for cover while Kate takes the lead.

She holds up a hand indicating they should wait for a moment, listening to see if there's any movement on the other side (listen 22).]
