Francesca pulls Ethan aside the day after they arrive in Magadan. She requests that they speak alone, and proceeds to lead him back to the Knights' aircraft to ensure they have privacy. She closes them in plane after briefly scoping the surrounding area, making sure this is indeed a private conversation.

"I have special orders concerning this mission and I'd like to ask your assistance with carrying them out, if you'd be so inclined?" She raises her eyebrows, awaiting his response while attempting to gauge his reaction.

The pomp and circumstance that surrounds their conversation only serves to intrigue Ethan further -- must be serious. But, he remains outwardly calm and unaffected as he follows Francesca onto the plane and crosses his arms over his chest, staying standing as she shuts them in.

At her statement, he doesn't hesitate before he nods.

"It's what I'm here for. Just point me in the right direction, and I'll do what I can to assist. So, what are our orders?" He's not surprised that she got special orders for the mission -- delicate as it is, it makes sense to be as careful with planning as possible. What he is surprised with is that she's not willing to share those orders with the team as a whole. Or perhaps isn't allowed to.
