"I'm not gonna try to turn you into one," Buffy agreed, dropping her hands and looking at Myri directly. "Just teach you enough that if you have to, you can use it."

Truth be told, the last thing she wanted was Myri fighting -- and not just because of the danger inherent in it, either. Myri did something a lot more important than hitting things. For a girl with as much inner turmoil about only being able to hulk smash and beat things nearly to death, healing was something of far more value. Saving people was a much better means of doing good than killing them was.

But, in their line of work, Myri needed to know how to do both. Or at least how to submit them enough to keep them from killing her.
