Their travels having taken them to London, it's probably Kyla who spotted the giant spotlights in the sky drawing people from far and wide to the famous art museum for an extravagant gala tonight. People trip up the stairs towards the festivities in tuxes and gorgeous shimmering gowns, as loud music echoes through the neighborhood. While there's definitely a classy upscale element here, the party planner apparently wanted to keep fun and light on the menu as well.

Of course, the giant banners proclaiming that the museum has a sun stone of Pelor on display might just be enough to convince Ruvaen it's worth a gander as well.

Initially, Ruvaen had protested this little detour of Kyla's urging. The glamor and flash of the gala was not the sort of environment the cleric had a habit of gravitating toward. Still, he had partially made it his mission to keep her from getting herself into too much trouble. Something he had quickly come to accept was an inevitability for the Bard.

Trouble gravitated toward and around Kyla like a moth to a flame.

Still, he wasn't entirely against the trip and had been following along half-willingly before he caught sight of the banners. Those had really turned the tables for Ruvaen. Suddenly, this gala had started to seem like a much better idea. He would even go so far as to say that Pelor had coaxed Kyla into leading him here for the privilege of this sight.

"You'll have to send Beau off. I museum is no place for a hawk."

Ruvaen had even gone so far as to spend a little of his funds on getting some more dress-appropriate clothing, and he was notably uncomfortable in it. messing with the cuffs of the dress shirt he had on.

Pelor help him, this was a terrible idea, but it would be worth whatever potential trouble Kyla might get into or stir up.
