When Violet throws a party, she is, surprisingly, classy about it. It's a garden party, with tables out in the garden and the flowers all in bloom. There is tea and mimosas on the tables and little cakes and vegetarian sandwiches. Music is playing on her phone -- the most eclectic mix of modern and retro, and a truly astounding amount of Elvis. Don't judge, she doesn't know why she likes him so much. Off to one side there is an area of shade, a construction of twigs and branches making quite a fine shelter, flowering vines interwoven between the branches to cover up any holes.

She sends invitations the day of, though send might not be the word for it. More like... she duct tapes the invitations to every door she sees before knocking and scampering off to the next door. Does she know you? Maybe not. Does she care? Definitely not. You get an invitation, you get an invitation, everyone gets a humpback whale!

It's just an everyday party in the garden, or so the invitation claims. Except it's her birthday, or the one she and Charming chose for her, and she wants to celebrate turning twenty six! She just doesn't want to be the center of attention.

Come one, come all, mix, mingle, nibble. Violet will be around, coaxing flowers into bloom and trying to remember where she put her shoes when she came out here... Whatever. Barefoot it is.

Felicity is, of course, here for her first London friend. Not that she wouldn't be here regardless because while missionless she has literally nothing to do, but this is especially special because it's a Violet party.

[Okay, maybe they have actual garden gnomes because Vi's shoes are just MIA. And not pregnant at the MTV movie awards MIA, but missing, a lot, in action. She peeks under a chair one last time, before giving up, grabbing a glass of (iced) tea and hop, skipping and jumping over to Felicity. (Okay, she strolled.) ]

Thoster snatches the invitation off his door and chuckles to himself as he watches the girl dart down the hall. He's not really the tea party type, but he's not one to miss a social event.

He strolls in and surveys the festivities, finding himself a drink almost immediately and sipping as he mingles. He's got a big smile on his face as he walks around, so feel free to stop him for a chat. He doesn't bite... unless asked.]

[Snow hadn't expected the knock at her door that morning, but she was pleasantly surprised when she spotted the small note that had been fastened to the other side of her door. (Actually, she was so preoccupied with the prospect of locating the person who had knocked, that she nearly looked over it altogether.)

A quick read over the little invitation brings a smile to her face. An outdoor party sounds delightful! She decides that she will venture out and take part in the festivities for a while.

The decor is absolutely beautiful- perfectly quaint and inviting. She steps over and grabs a little cake from the table, taking a bite as she looks around- admiring all of the flowers and taking note of the obvious hard work that has been put into the affair.]

[True story, bro, her ding dong ditch was in fact a clever ploy to get people interested in said party. (No it wasn't, that's a lie.)

But, actual true story, Violet skips over when she sees Snow looking a particular bouquet of flowers and plucks an unopened bud from one of the stems.]

Hi, I'm Violet. [She holds out the bud, smiling as it opens into a lovely flower, her name sake.]

[First impressions are her forte, apparently. Or maybe her inability to be normal just works for laughs. Regardless of this natural inclination to endearing weirdness she seems to project, Violet knows she has not met this guy, so she frolics over to greet him.

She might actually frolic, I don't know if that is possible without a nearby meadow.]

West Philadelphia, born and raised on the play ground is where I spent most of my days. Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool, shootin' some b-ball outside of school.

When a couple of guys that were up to no good, started making trouble in the neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, said you're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air.

It's three in the afternoon and a tea party, what exactly were you expecting, strippers dressed like Alice?

[She all but stomps her foot. He's kind of funny and quality entertainment, but this is her birthday. She doesn't care if he doesn't know. He's not bringing strippers.

She takes a deep breath, so she won't slap him with a rose bush.]

You can't invite strippers. They won't be able to get past the gates, so hang up.

[He lifts the phone back to his head]
Hey Floyd? We're going to have to cancel... I know, I know, maybe another time.
[He hangs up on the man, who was saying something about an outstanding balance...]

Alright, there. Happy? You don't have to get all... purpuraceous on me, Violet.
[He chortles a bit at his pun, before recalling that puns are the most pedestrian form of humor]

Just remember; the strippers were your idea Violet, and for the record not a classy move for a tea party, alright?

[Clever indeed, despite being downright impish. "Never a dull moment" might just be an understatement when this girl is involved.

And before Snow has the chance to offer her own introduction, her eyes widen. Now there's something that you certainly don't see every day. Even for one who is really no stranger to magic.

She nods, tilting her head slightly as a grin takes over her expression.]

Very nice to meet you, Violet...- how impressive!
[She gestures toward the newly bloomed flower, then gently scoops it up- her smile only widening as she examines it for a moment.] Your name suits you.

Thanks. My mom totally named me on purpose. You're... Snow, right? [She pauses a moment, before shrugging slightly.] I watched your squiring ceremony. Who did you get squired to?

Oh, no, oh no. I only said strippers, you took that and ran a four minute mile with it, bucko. Do you seriously have strippers on speed dial? Seriously?

[That look would be incredulous.]

[He meets the look with equal, if not greater incredulity]

No. My speed dial is the front desk and the Chinese take away. Strippers, oddly enough, don't come up a lot.
