Riddick wasn't really one to keep in touch with people... well ever really, but mostly while on a mission. Which is where he had been, for a while. Once that mission was finished though, he took some time for himself and just sort of... disappeared for a few months. No phone calls, no letters, not even a postcard. What a jerk.

After those few months of being all out of touch with everyone in the castle here he comes strolling casually through the front door, no luggage, and still looking like he gives no fucks. Which he doesn't.

Hit him with your best shot.

[He grins wolfishly, turning with her as she walks towards the door.] Well, it'd be easier than calling a cab. I've got a hankering to see the London office all of a sudden.

[He reaches over her head to hold the door open so he can stand super close to her his eyes never leaving her face]

I've always been one to follow my urges. They usually prove the best action.

You could say that I guess. More like a memory trip, really. [He keeps pace with her easily, readjusting his goggles absently.]

[He rolls his shoulders cuz talking about stuff-ish]

Normally I'm not. More curious to see where I grew up, see if I recognized anything.

I gave Dovon a heads up, didn't figure I needed to advertise it to everyone. [And no, he totally does not see how jerky he sounds.]

Nevada. [She offers, knowing that it isn't really that exciting compared to SPACE.] Crazy zombie kids. You know, the usual.

Nevada and zombie kids, huh? Sounds fun. [And he sounds like he actually means it. He slows a bit more, looking at her with a curious light in his eyes that you unfortunately can't see because of his dark dark goggles with eyebrows slightly raised.]

Nope. Course, I was in an orphanage since before I can remember, so mostly everyone disappeared that I would have known.

I guess families were going missing? So Wynn asked us to check it out. Then half our group stumbles on a real life haunted house. I also got to see one of the squires turn into a cat.

[Is Riddick up for being hugged out of absolutely nowhere? He better be because when Andie glimpses him from aaaaall the way across the room it's barely half a second before she's flinging her arms around him excitedly.]

[Lila is still new enough to the castle that she still doesn't recognize everyone on sight. Usually is a case of not giving nearly enough fucks to pay attention, but this time it is just because ooh stranger.

She deftly hangs up the phone with a sugary, sweet "toodle-oo" and straightens in her chair to get a better look at Tall, Dark and Buff.]

Can I help you? [She doesn't sound like she would mind.]

[That catches him up and he casts a slightly dis-believing look her way.]

[Riddick doesn't like being surprised. In fact, you could say he hates it because it is usually near to impossible for anyone or anything to surprise him.

So when one moment he was walking completely alone minding his own, and the next there was suddenly something clinging to his neck and gibbering nearly incoherently, it was pure instinct to react as he does.

With one hand he grabs Andie by the scruff of the neck, pulling her back away from him (strength check: 22) and with the other he pulls out one of his Ulak blades , bringing it up and to her neck.]

[Riddick looks up at the question, eyes zoning in on the blonde behind the desk. Wynn must've hired a new secretary.]

I think I can find my way around, [he says, voice all rumbly and grumbly He walks a few more steps, then pauses as if on second thought.]

Actually, can you tell me if Sir Fred is here?

[bittersweeter]

[Lila fiddles with her scarf, making a face as she tries to mentally place who the hell Fred is... maybe that guy at that place...]

Uh, yeah, I think I've seen him around lately. [A beat.] So who is looking for him?

[She doesn't say it like is all that interested in Fred's well being, but more in the guy in front of her.]

[W O W RUDE. Andie lets out a terrified little meep and wriggles away (escape artist check 19 + idk I don't have her character sheet with me but it's a buttload.)]
