[Holy shit. It's the only thought that crosses Violet's mind. From seeing the enormous house -- mansion? Legit castle? She has no clue -- to the hall, to the giant book off wicked oldness. The tapestries with their incredibly pictures and dragons, the absolute shit ton of doors, the inscription. Everything is greeted with wide eyes and an unspoken holy shit. Violet had thought she was used to opulence from the gleaming white pillars and temples from home, but this place... she's pretty sure all of Camp Jupiter would easily fit inside it. Twice. With room for a pool.

It hadn't taken much to convince her to go along. She had spent her formative years in the Legion, it is who she is, how she is used to living, the tattoo on her arm her badge of honor and her proudest achievement, every line a year that she had done her part. The lines ending was hard for her and now she has a chance to try again? To put everything she had learned and mastered to good use? Yes, she wants to take that chance again.

She just doesn't know how.

Maybe though, it starts with that giant over there. She steps forward slowly, perfectly broken in shoes making barely a sound though she doubts he doesn't know she's there. The doors were almost a fanfare. She has met people taller, the gods tended to use their height to look down on mere mortals with disdain even though they just as easily could have done that from average height. The giants in the north were absolutely mammoth, sweet though. Like giant blue teddy bears. She suspects this man comes by his height naturally, the same way he comes by the feeling of intimidation practically rolling off him like tendrils of creeping ivy. Again. Holy shit.]

Huh. [It's just a murmured noise of existence -- oh hey, I'm here! -- as she scratches at her arm. Can she even join if she is still part of the -- no, she retired already. Sorted.] Nice table. Very... diplomatic.
