Andrew is nervous. He nearly talked himself out of going through with this half a dozen times, today alone. He arrives in the front lobby area of the castle about 15 minutes early and that's when the pacing starts. There's a slight squeak from his shoes each time he turns to walk back the way he came, as if he's trying to wear a hole in the fancy floors. One hand toys anxiously with the keys to one of the cars in the garage that he plans to take them out in. The other keeps a tight grip on his phone, checking the time every thirty seconds.

"Anytime." He says trying to sound cool... and succeeding, moderately (charisma 16). He's pretty focused on the game, because they are heading into a boss battle okay. This is serious shit.

"You ready for this?" He gets the feeling they'll be alright. But only if she carries them through the level, because Andrew's starting off pretty bad with an attack of 10...

She glances at him out of the corner of her eye, grinning, before redoubling her efforts after that misstep.

"Damn right, I am."

And apparently she kicks ass (rng attack 21). They take down the boss while taking minimal damage themselves, because apparently they're a great videogame team.

Meant to be, basically.

"Wow, that was... You were amazing." He may or may not seem more stunned by how hot she is now than he was when he first saw her. Because she can play games and play them well and she's just more unbelievable than he previously thought.

Also, this is great timing because clearing out that level and boss battle was just enough time for their pizza to cook. The guy at the counter waves to get Andrew's attention.

"Huh? Oh- guess our food's done." He puts the gun back in it's holster for the game and gestures for her to follow him back to the food court so they can grab a table.

"You weren't so bad yourself," she returns, bumping into his shoulder playfully before holstering her own weapon and turning to follow him.

She hasn't had this kind of good clean fun in a long time and it's really refreshing and...nice.

They make their way over to grab the pizza, and she snags two cups for fountain beverages. "What do you want to drink? I'll grab it for you."

"Uhm- just Coke's fine." He's still recovering from the shoulder bump. Now that they aren't playing a game, he's keenly aware how scorching hot she is and he's trying not to act like an idiot.

It's funny that the more you TRY to act natural, the less natural you act.

He gets the pizza and brings it over to a table for two, fumbling a little with plates and napkins while she gets the drinks.

"Coke it is."

She turns and grabs two cokes, one regular and one cherry, with half ice, before she heads back to the table he grabbed, sipping at hers through her straw and slipping into one of the seats.

"This looks so good," she says, setting down the other drink by him. "People who swear off greasy food are crazy."

"Here." He grabbed a piece and a plate and got handed it over. The slices are huge and they have a whole pizza to split so here's hoping they are both hungry. "Nothing better in the world than fresh pizza. And Gino makes the best in town. This place actually started as a pizza place when I was a kid. Used to come in and play Pac Man. It was the only game he had for years, but he added a few more, and then more and more until eventually the arcade became the focus and the pizza took a back seat. I guess I've always been nostalgic about it."

Fortunately, Bo has good genes (lol) and has no fear of overindulging in fatty foods. She will happily eat half this pizza, okay.

She partially folds the huge piece as she picks it up, listening to him speak even as she takes that first bite. And it's warm and cheesy and spicy and sweet and amazing. She makes a little partial moan of bliss as she chews and swallows.

She's not even being deliberately awful right now. It's just damn good pizza.

"I highly doubt the pizza takes a back seat to anyone who actually puts the games down to try it," she says. She lowers the slice in order to give him a serious but happy look. "And I'm flattered that you'd bring me to a place that you feel so strongly about."

There's something weirdly hot about watching her put away that pizza. And it's not just the uncomfortably sexy way she moans while eating it. Bo is just the actual coolest girl that's ever let him take them out on a date.

If this doesn't work out, Andrew is in trouble, because the bar is going to be set ridiculously high from now on.

"I'm just glad you like it. Sort of felt like a gamble." Big risk, big reward, right? "But just so you know? This isn't our only stop tonight. I mean... if you don't get too mad at me when I beat the pants off you at air hockey." He manages a grin.

She's already taken another bite or two by the time he's finished speaking, and she wipes at her mouth with a napkin pulled from the holder on the table while she watches him with raised eyebrows.

"Trying to get my pants off already?" she asks, though her tone and the way she's grinning mischievously indicates she's just mercilessly teasing him. "That's more forward than expected. What happens if I beat the pants of you instead, hm?"

"Er... That's not what I-!" Her smile is dazzling and he's too entranced by it to catch on that she's just teasing him (wis 8). Pardon him while he stumbles a bit more until she mentions beating the pants off of him. Andrew promptly turns red. He just laughs nervously and clears his throat.

"How about everyone keeps their pants on?" Things guys don't normally say on dates for $1000, Alex? "I mean... kids around... and all."

She chuckles with amusement, taking another bit of pizza before raising it as if in toast.

"I can deal with that. Exhibitionism isn't one of my kinks, anyway."

Especially not in front of kids. She's not that bad.

Andrew chokes on his bite of pizza, coughing hard until his airway is clear. Give him a minute. You can't just drop the K word on this guy!

"Glad we're-" Hack. Cough. Sputter. "In agreement, then. So uhm... What do you like to do for fun?"

"Careful. I wouldn't want to have to give you the Heimlich on the first date."

Again, she's teasing. Mostly, this time.

"Me? Probably the usual girl stuff. Watch movies, shop, eat out, though I admit I shop for sharp objects as much as I do for shoes." She...might have a dagger shoved into her boot, just saying. "What about you?"

"Nothin' too crazy. Games, tv, movies. I fix computers for fun sometimes- try to see what upgrades I can give 'em." Nerd stuff, but at least he's honest. Nothing about Andrew screams rock climber.

"Maybe someday you can build me one."

No that Bo was really huge on computers, but she wouldn't mind learning.

"Sure!" He perks right up at that. "I've got a laptop I've been working on. Not really for anyone really- just something to do." Since he doesn't have much of a social life sob. "But when I'm done, you could have it. Maybe you could...come check it out and let me know if you want any specs changed?"

"I can do that. No guarantee that I'll be able to give you any special requests, though."

She took another bite of pizza and a sip of her drink.

"Besides, you're the expert. I trust your judgement."

Wow, it's more than a little embarrassing how much that compliment to his expertise makes him grin and blush and- oh god he's falling so hard on the first date.

"I'll get it fixed up for you. Definitely. And hey- if it ever breaks, you've got built in Geek Squad. Day or night." Which of course makes him think about late night repair calls and how ~anything could happen.~ Life is not a bad porno, but... he wouldn't mind that.

Don't worry, Andrew. Making boys blush is her specialty. And it's adorable.

"Are you going to show up in one of those cute cars and everything?" she teases.

"I could probably get my hands on one." Well, at least he's still joking with her. That's a good sign. He shoves the last of his pizza slice into his mouth and wipes his hands on his jeans because pfffft napkins.

"Air hockey? I can have them hold the rest of the pizza in the back for us. Keep it warm."

"I might have to hold you to that."

She takes one last sip of her drink before she gives him an enthusiastic reply.

"You got it. I hope you're ready to get spanked, though."

He's half standing when she says it, and nearly falls over, truth be told. He's never had someone talk to him like that on a date with him. Usually the girls are already bored with him by now.

"You're... That's- Erm. I'll take care of the pizza." He will use this time to take a few deep breaths to collect his thoughts. By the time he comes back to the table, he's at least not blushing like an idiot (as bad at least).

"Okay so! This way?" He will just not mention the spanking thing. But boy is he thinking about it- both giving and receiving which is weird! Is that weird? He should probably just stop thinking about it.

Finding an empty air hockey table, he pops a few tokens in and gives her a slightly less nervous smile.

"Ladies first?"

(Lets say we make a Dex attack to see if a goal is made. Beat a 15 and it goes in? /makes shit up on the fly)

His reactions alone are entertaining, okay. Nearly falling over himself is only going to egg her on. It doesn't help that she has...not much verbal filter.

She follows after him, stepping to the opposite side of the air hockey table and snagging the puck at his suggestion.

"If you insist."

And then she'll start the game with a shot that's off the mark. (Dex 10)

Blocking the shot easily, he lines up his next one and... Oh hey he scores and makes it look like he should do this professionally (nat 20 what the fuck). Freezing for a second, he looks like he's not sure if that really just happened.

"You want to put a wager on the game?" He's joking. But wow he was not expecting that kind of shot.
