As planned, the road ahead is smooth without any traffic congestion. And the image of the sky reflected beautifully on the Thames also indicates a nice weather. Brantley might not be a gear-head or a wise-man, but one of the thing he is good at is preparing things. Though he didn't specifically close the road for them or hire a wizard who can control weather, he did survey the road a bit and check the weather report before going on the date.
