[Thoster has no trouble convincing the owner to let him use the stage and even gets a few names of regulars who could help play some instruments to back him up (diplomacy 28). So a little bit after Fiona finishes ordering drinks, there's a throat clearing sound over the microphone that's now on, and there's Thoster, up front and center with a grin on his face.
