Formerly a two story barn, the bar Lila rented for Faye's birthday has an Art Deco theme that continues through the building, with each space having been given a contemporary twist. The lavish interiors create a feeling of forgotten decadence. Each room has its own distinct and unique ambience, all complementing one another yet reflecting different moods, depending on the feeling of the moment, flowing through to the secluded garden.

The man at the door has been notified to waive the cover charge for anyone that comes bearing a gift, but if you don't come bearing gifts... don't expect Lila to feel pity for you. You're paying that cover charge yourself, en-fucking-joy, you soulless, non-gifting-bearing bastard. (This was mentioned in the invites she sent out to all the ladies in the castle. It's possible that it's literally all the ladies in the castle as Lila doesn't care whether they're friends with Faye or not. No boys got invites unless they were verbal. The dress code of "fancy but down to fuck" was also on the invitations...)

Tucked in the back is a partitioned off banquet for the VIP party and once inside the ropes, you get a stamp on your hand so the drinks are free for the rest of the night -- and the drink of the night is a Bailey's Comet. Because it's on fire. Drink, enjoy, be merry. Do things. Save room for the cake.

And if anyone is worried about a bunch of drunk knights trying to drive home, Lila rented a handful of rooms at a nearby hotel because when she plans shit, she plans it well.

around her wrist, tinkling against the face of her watch, is her half of faye's present. because they're still teenage girls, tbh. (her half says best, because she is.)

[Kate is not entirely sure what she's doing here at the moment, as she doesn't know Faye or Lila all that well, but it was an invitation to a party, so she's going to come to said party because she wants to get out of the castle. She at least brings a card, which gets her through the door, and once she deposits it in the VIP area and gets her drink stamp, she's going to perch at the bar as she watches the room.

And order a drink. She's not going to let those free drinks go to waste, after all.]

That's a lie, Felicity is actually happy to be here and unlike Kate she did bring a gift for Faye, magicked by a magical friend so that she can look like she's wearing an actual flame around her neck.

In case you didn't already know that Faye likes fire, it can be like a warning sign. Or something.

Regardless, she drops off her gift before she starts making the rounds, making notes of new faces and generally being her usual friendly self. Have at her.]

[ When he was invited of course he knew he couldn't show up empty handed. Like hell he would pay a cover charge. If he cared enough or not was not the point. Sebastian had showed up a little early by mistake, someone never reset his watch, what the hell is day light savings time?

He had not shown up empty handed either though he ripped the card off the gift before he handed it over, so the paper had a little tear and was officially anon but he didn't care. Once things got going he moved to the bar to have a few drinks. He didn't feel like being Mr. Social, but then again he never really did. ]

[It doesn't take much for Felicity to put together who this guy who keeps hanging around Lila is (wisdom 18). Granted, a monkey could probably figure it out, but let's credit her with being perceptive anyway. She could have crit failed.

All the same, she waits until Lila wanders away to talk to someone else before making her way over. Lila can crash into them later if she wants but she wants to talk to him alone first. She's got her friendliest smile on as she commandeers the now empty seat.]

[When she and Lila had talked about birthdays and picked the day out of thin air, she sort of forgot all about it after that. The fact that she couldn't remember a single birthday party prior to now likely had something to do with it. So when Lila came by to show her the finished invitation, she was a little confused until she recalled that random little drive they took.

She's wearing a simple little black dress, but wearing it like it should be a crime for how good it looks on her (disguise 23). Her jewelry, lipstick, and nail polish add that expected pop of red. She keeps moving, mingling, seeing who decided to show up. Later in the night, she finds the largest booth to lounge in, drink in hand, and doesn't even seem bothered by anyone who wants to join her.

This may be the happiest Faye has been in a public setting. She's coming to terms with the fact that she cares about people here, and learning to accept that she doesn't have to keep that defensive mask up all the time. And she can have fun without being cruel...sometimes.]
