[ the soldier tries to cold cock spike with the butt of his rifle and fails (atk 18). rafael moves instantly, the soldier trying to react when he sees him reaching out and failing his AoO as rafael tries to disarm him. the soldier yanks the gun back just in time with his nat 20 opposed check, however, and shit we should probably roll for init now huh ]
