Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

A little bit. Think of it like if beer and wine had a baby -- its fermented honey and water. Usually with some kind of spices.

[David is making a point of at least putting names to faces with all the new knights. Squiring parties can get a little wild and unruly with so many people present at once, but the smaller sect parties are good for people like him who are just ... not good with people.

Not intentionally, just generally.

So when he makes his way back to the bar to get a refill on his beer, he catches her going at the drinks and just raises his eyebrows.]

I know we can seem a little ... rowdy, but I'm not sure pre-gaming is the solution.

[how he knows what pre-gaming is, who knows? Also that statement is based on an assumption that's wrong, but unfortunately for David, he's not aware of that (sense motive 3).]

[Her nose wrinkles a bit at that. She's never really been one for drinking and that ... sounds kind of gross. But to each their own, right?]

There are qualifying exams you can take to show you're ready for that level of education. You're free to apply to any university you wish from there. I'm personally biased to suggest Oxford, but I do think you would succeed there, not simply because it would be nice to see a former squire attend my alma mater.
