Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

This is one of those times horses really need one of those ridiculous Derby names. [ daisy is a girl's name and it's really putting a different spin on this conversation. ♭ ]

Regretting knighting me already? Too late, Alex, can't take it back now.

I mean, I could take it back, but if you killed me ... you would have no evidence that I took it back.

[ she snaps her fingers. ] If only I had cyanide with me. Alas.

Mm, yeah, I doubt you'd be able to strangle me or something like that.

If I was going to kill you I wouldn't do it like that, I'd shoot you or poison you.
