Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

[ Steve sure as hell looks smooth tonight (Nat 20 disguise with a 22 all together). His attitude doesn't change. Just because he's been knighted doesn't mean Steve's head has suddenly grown three sizes too big. He's chatty and just happy to be here actually. ]

[Baal had made a few friends in the castle at this point, but he wasn't one who was big on celebrating his accomplishments. Especially since... well this was the first one that was actually a good thing. So he may have told a few people about Thoster recommending him for promotion, but he wasn't expecting a large group coming to cheer for him.

[ it's taken her a while, but abigail (disguise 11) has finally been knighted and she loiters around the party in her (and the other freelancers') honor aimlessly, jamie foxx circling her ankles and waiting patiently for someone to drop food that he can snap up.

she's still a little uncertain of her choice, but freelancer seems like a better fit for abigail than any other sect. ]
