Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

Dude, I love the Hide. Cora and David are in my zombie apocalypse crew, for sure. But you gotta admit- it would be fun to be a fly on the wall.

No, I said I would like them to help me kill zombies. It's a very serious thing to consider. The fun part is watching the rest of them get drunk and start to arm wrestle each other.

Cora. [ that's it. just cora. it's a very small but powerful squad. ]

[He nods. Then waits for her to continue. And waits. And waits.]

Um... I think you're forgetting a vital member of any zombie survival team.

[Him. He means him.]

[ her eyebrow arches. ] Oh, right. Hedwig.

[He narrows his eyes at her.]

You'd take a friggin owl? Over me?!

She's a genius owl, Stiles.

I know she is. But I'm a zombie expert, okay. Seriously, I could have a PhD in zombie survival.

[He takes this s-so seriously]

Okay, fine, you can be on my zombie apocalypse team. You can be the leader.

Okay but not like season one leader. That guy has a way higher chance of ending up dead. Maybe like established season 3 leader.

You want me to find someone else to be leader first so they'll die? That's cold, Stiles. [ a beat. ] Deal.

[He grins at her.]

So how long do we stay here before I can steal you away for a little private celebrating?

[makeouts yo]

Um. Three... two... one... [ what? it's her party, she can do what she wants, looping her arms around his neck again to kiss him quickly. ] Let's go.

[killingtodeath]

[He lets out a laugh against her mouth, kissing her back and shaking his head.]

Whatever you say, boss. [He disengages from her arms just to take her hand in his and get the hell outta dodge so they can find a nice play to make out.]
