[It's a fairly standard night out as far as the rest of the world is likely concerned, considering it is Valentine's Day, but as far as Felicity is concerned she and Thoster are in need of a nice night out. After getting all dressed up for the evening (disguise 21), she makes her way to the front desk to grab the keys for their car and to wait for her date.

As much as they've been seeing as each other now that they're living together, she's been looking forward to this and she hopes that he is too.]

[Thoster arrives not long after Felicity. He's dressed to impress (disguise 26) and sporting a brilliant smile as he meets her in the lobby.]

Aren't you a lovely sight. Hope you've got a proper date coming along and not some scoundrel.

[He moves to close the distance between them, leaving little in the way of personal space. One hand moves to her hip while the other moves out to the side, a chain draped across two finger, letting a pendant drop to hang in her view.]

Think you forgot this.

I tend to prefer a little scoundrel. But not too much.

[Which means to say she likes her pirate just the way he is. She leans in closer as the chain drops and a wide smile crosses her face.]

It's beautiful. Can't believe I forgot it.

No harm done. Now, why don't you turn around so I can return it to its proper home.

[He just looks terribly pleased with himself- or maybe that's just the natural way he lights up around her.]

[She lights up herself, so it's probably both of them feeding off each other. She turns around to face away from him, scooping up her hair so that he can put it on her.]

Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated.

[Carefully, he drapes the chain around her neck, slipping the clasp and smoothing his hands over her shoulders and leaning in to kiss the side of her neck briefly before he moves around to face her again.]

Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be more beautiful.

Flatterer.

[Not that she doesn't love it. She leans in to kiss him softly, before taking his hand.]

C'mon. We're going to be late for dinner.

Yes, as much as I'd love to skip right to dessert, we look far too good to deprive the world of the sight. [His fingers intertwine with hers, squeezing softly.]

[She squeezes his hand back, before making her way down to the car.]

I've always felt that anticipation is one of the key ingredients for a good dessert anyway.

Mmm, you do seem to know best when it comes to such things. [He's sayin you're good in bed, girl. Winking at her, he makes his way to the driver's side to open the door for her.]

[She smiles in return before making her way around, slipping into the driver's seat.]

I'd say you've got some good instincts in that department as well.

Well, what a pair we make. [He leans down to steal a quick kiss before he closes the door for her and moves around to take his own seat on the passenger side.]

[She smiles into the kiss before starting to head off towards the city, driving more than well enough to get them there in one piece (drive 21).]

Have you been to this restaurant before?

No, this will be my first time there. I think I prefer it that way. I'll be able to remember that first moment being there with you.

[allmydreams]

[That makes her smile wide before nodding.]

It's my first time too. But I've heard very good things.

[bluffcheck]

And adventure for us to take on together? Well, I can't think of a better way to spend my evening.

[She grins.]

Every outing should have a little bit of adventure in it, I think. Keeps things from getting boring.

[bluffcheck]

[He looks at her with hearts in his eyes. Gonna marry the shit out of this girl one day. No one better suited for a pirate.]

I can't imagine a day ever being boring with you by my side, lass.

[She grins at that, before nodding her agreement.]

I'm glad you like to keep things interesting.

[bluffcheck]

[He leans forward and fiddles with the radio a bit, finding some background music. He keeps the volume low. Thankfully, his love of music gave him good reason to learn how to operate such things early on.]

We've done a good job with this, haven't we? Making an honest go of it. Just the two of us.

[Felicity glances over at him for a moment, before nodding with a smile.]

Yeah, I think we have. We work well together.

[bluffcheck]

That we do. You're happy, aren't you, lass? [The normally overconfident man now seems almost insecure as he glances at her while she drives.]

[allmydreams]

[She glances over when they hit a stop light, before giving him a small smile as she does.]

Yeah.

[She reaches over to take his hand, giving it a small squeeze.]

I'm really happy.

[bluffcheck]

[He holds onto her hand, lacing their fingers together. She can drive with one hand for a bit. It'll be fiiiine.]

Glad to hear it. I hope I can keep that up for many more days to come.

[Yep, she is a one-handed driving expert.]

I do too. Because I am not planning on doing them without you anytime soon.
