[You know who is always up for making new animals friends? This girl. Cora spots Venus as she's bringing her Bernese Mountain dog back from his walk and she smiles softly before crouching down to get to know her (handle animal 20).]

Hi there.

[ Venus eyed the dog first but moved over and sniffed at Cora's hand, her tail swaying. She was a friendly cat to most woman, she nuzzles Cora's hand with a mew.

Her pet human is still reading and has yet to notice that Venus has found another human to play with again.]

[It's okay, Venus, Bernie is cat-friendly. Cora has trained him well. And she will smile softly before shifting to sit in the middle of the hallway like a goober so she can pet the pretty kitty.]

Aren't you pretty.

[She says softly, basically being the living embodiment of this.]

[ Venus loved the attention and purred for Cora nuzzling her hand back. She liked the affection very much.]

[Well, Cora loves giving attention, so that's a win-win.]

Do you have a friend around here somewhere, or did you come in from outside?

[charismapotion]

[ Very win-win.

Venus mewed and turned her head towards the end of the hall. Her human was that way.]

[Oh, good. She's not some wandering feline (not that that would have been a bad thing because Cora would have just adopted her, but still. It's good she has a human). She continues to keep stroking over her head, and then tipping her fingers to scritch under her chin.]

Hopefully he won't mind that I'm giving you so much attention, then.

[charismapotion]

[ As if summoned by his familiar being nonchalant about his location, Mars stepped from a random room in the hall in time to hear her speaking to Venus.]

He wont mind, she kinda does what she wants anyway. [ Venus mewed while Mars spoke. Still ignoring her human.]

[She glances up with a small smirk.]

That's how cats roll, isn't it? They are their own feline?

[charismapotion]

[ He smiles back down at her, pushing some of his hair out of his face.]

Exactly, and as long as she's not in danger I'm not about to try and stop her.

[ Venus mewed and went back to nuzzling Cora.]

[She nods in agreement.]

Well, me and Bernie are very cat friendly. I think she'll be safe.

[To which her large Bernese Mountain dog is just going to come over and sniff you out, hey Mars, sup.]

[charismapotion]

[ He kneels down when the dog came over to sniff, holding his hand out to him.]

Nice to meet you Bernie. Your certainly a pretty one. I'm Mars, annd this is Venus. [ He looked up to Cora, before motioning to Venus when he said her name.]

I'm Cora.

[Since she's the only person who hasn't been introduced yet.]

Is she your familiar or is she just your pet?

[because that also seems like an important question to ask.]

[charismapotion]

Nice to meet you, Cora.

[ He looked down to Venus and nodded a bit.]

She is my familiar, she is also a ham, she will do anything to get treats even when she's already had some.

[ Venus hissed when he said that as he shrugged and she went back to nuzzling Cora's leg.]

I'm pretty sure that's standard for any pet.

[She jerks her thumb over towards her dog, who lolls his tongue out as though he knows he's being talked about.]

This one is the same way.

[charismapotion]

[ He chuckled a bit and nodded, looking over at Bernie and Venus.]

Yeah, that's about right. Its a good trait though I tend to think it makes them very social.

[She nods in agreement.]

I've found that cat familiars are usually a bit better at being social than normal cats. It's good for them though.

[charismapotion]

I wouldn't know sadly. [ He smiled down at Venus.] She's my first and only pet. I didn't even have a gold fish or anything like that. My grandmother had a familiar as well, but I didn't see Alexia until I was nearly 16. She was Venus' mother.

[ He offered a hand to Bernie, cause yes he'd like to pet the dog.]

[Bernie will sniff at his hand a bit before settling and just letting him pet him because ... well, he's a bit of a pet slut.]

I didn't have any pets either. He's my first, but my family's always been dog friendly.

[charismapotion]

[ Mars set to rubbing at the dogs ears and petting as soon as Bernie seemed cool with it. Looking up he nodded some.]

That's still cool that their pet friendly. If you ever neeed someone to watch him while your on missions, if Im here I'll keep an eye on him if you ever need it.

[If Abigail or Will isn't available, anyway.]

I'll keep that in mind.

[charismapotion]

[ Mars finally stopped petting Bernie and pushed himself back up.] Anyway, it's been nice meeting you, though i should likely get back to work.

[Cora nods in agreement.]

Nice to meet you too.

[And with that, she will take Bernie and wander off to get some time outside. /scene]
