[ This log covers any non-work related shenanigans the Knights have while staying in New Orleans. Because we haven't finished out the other two logs yet, assume some time has passed since then, in case anyone was injured, so that they've had sufficient time to get better.

As for work stuff, you can assume they've been busy with establishing Finnick's fake rock star cred, and investigating some of the intel they'll uncover in those other logs that we haven't quite gotten to yet. JUST DON'T TALK ABOUT WORK and all will be well.

[ mark's been gone most of the day, and when he arrives, he's carrying several gigantic shopping bags from what look like fancy clothing stores. the smile on his face makes him look like a kid on christmas as he holds them up triumphantly to whoever is in the living room. ]

[ Arthur looks up, looks at what he's carrying and the grin on his face, his own expression dubious. ]

Bags?

[If Arthur's expression is dubious, Spike's is downright mocking. Be gayer, dude. You make Andrew look straight. Not that Spike remember's Andrew's name. That's not a veil thing, that's an Andrew thing.]

A boyfriend?

My birthday present. [ it's probably not her birthday -- not that she knows when her birthday is. but they look like clothes bags from nice places and she will forever desire those be presents for her, ok. ] ... What? It could happen.

... A great menswear store. [ He places the bags on an empty sofa, feeling as if his fanfare has been punctured slightly but eager apparently to bring it back. ] And...

[ He draws out a belt with a flourish from within one of them, looking quite proud. ]

Salvatore Ferragamo! [ His triumphant smile makes it clear this is supposed to mean something. ]

[ Blank look on this face. This is, after all, the dude who still wears his armour at every opportunity. ]

I'm guessing this is a name of absolutely no relevance to our mission whatsoever?

[ arthur you're officially offending buffy's delicate sensibilities. YOU CAN ONLY CRY THE FOSSIL EXCUSE FOR SO LONG. and she looks downright scandalized, then scrambles over to scope out mark's belt. ]

It'd be a crime to have Ferragano accessories but no shoes. [ He gives her a pleased grin, yanking out a pair of nice black shiny leather shoes. He hands them over to her, while glancing up at Arthur. ]

Not exactly... mission compatible, no. [ He does sound a little sheepish about having it pointed out. ]

[Spike doesn't know who Salvatore Ferragamo is either, but Arthur's BLAH BLAH THE MISSION thing has put him firmly on team: accessorising.]

Dumage says you can charge those to the company cards and no one gives a damn.

Shopping, oddly enough, isn't exactly my idea of a good time.

It's not like it's my only hobby. I just think it's fun to... express myself. I mean, not everyone gets to do that.
