At his mentor's request, Brantley immediately takes off to the bar. Dressed in a smart casual attire, he sits at the counter waiting for the arrival of his mentor. Though, in this case, he is the one who does the teaching.
The bar is already filled with a few number of patrons, chatting and sharing one's life memories with each other, but Brantley just sits there, lost in his thought. A bar was never a strange place for Brantley, but when someone goes through the same career path as his, the only friend you could share enjoyable drinks and exciting stories with is yourself.
He waits patiently as he enjoy the moment of peace in the dimly lit bar.

Even if she's there to have fun, she still needs to be careful. She's fresh off a mission and her instincts still tell her to keep a low profile, which means not getting too sloppy with things - not that she ever really did.
She notices Brantley down the way, his face vaguely familiar, but not quite familiar enough for her to place it. Still, at the same time, he's fairly attractive. She'll let that attention linger for a moment, if he doesn't mind.

Not long, the bartender walks toward the lady. He puts a glass of cocktail and the napkin in front of her and walks away without any comment. The clear-colored cocktail, decorated with ice cube and raspberry, reflects light to its viewer. At the same time, the note delivers its message to the reader with its ink-stained skin.
Just something to enjoy the view with.
Meanwhile, Brantley just waits for the women to read his note and for the chance to greet her with a charming smile(cha 17).
no subject
Doesn't have to be a view.
When he looks up, she'll be tapping her foot against the lower rung of the bar stool next to her, before raising her eyebrows back at him expectantly.

"The view in this bar is beautiful, isn't it? But it may be hard for you to see without a mirror." Rather than playing it cool, he launches a pretty cheesy pickup line.
no subject
She will turn those cheesy lines back on you if you don't stop her. She has a bit of an appreciation for cheesy. She then extends a hand to him as she does.
"I'm Felicity." She's too tired for an alias tonight.
no subject
"Brantley." He accepts her hand and shakes it gently.
"Well, I'm not sure about appreciative, but I can testify that they are enchanting." Still smiling, he fires the second shot.
wow i am sorry that this took me so long. also I am crashing all these threads for hilarity...

She's having such a nice conversation.
"Enchanting. Good word." She certainly approves. "Got any other ones while you're at it?"
i feel bad for this but the dice surely doesn't
"For a lovely dame like you, of course." He continues his smile throughout the words. "But I might bore you, since you must have heard all compliments in the world." The third time, he adds extra cheese on it.

"Well, a lovely dame like me never minds hearing some of them twice," she grins, resting her chin in her hand as she does. "Flattery can get you everywhere."

Brantley is browsing through his cheese warehouse, when he notices his mentor is around.(spot 14) "Umm... Excuse me for a moment. I hate to break a conversation with such a charming lady, but I have a promise to keep." He smiles with a little bit of charm in it. "I won't be long. It's pretty hard to direct my attention to someplace else."
With a face full of joy, he walks to Andrew and utters a few words of apologies. "Hey. Uhh... sorry about that. Got a little bit distracted." Well, maybe not so little. "On the brighter side, I've found a lovely lady to accompany us for the night." Still smiling, he takes a glance at Felicity.
no subject
Not that he really wants to be alone but he wants to be a third wheel way less.
no subject
Drinking alone is just tragic.

"And let's not keep the pretty lady in waiting. Shall we?" He jiggles his head toward Felicity and he won't move from his place until Andrew makes the first step.
no subject
"'Lo." He shifts awkwardly before taking a seat and giving her another forced sort of smile as he tries to pretend that he's not nervous as hell about this whole thing.
no subject
"Hi there. I'm Felicity."
no subject
"Oh yeah, we were talking about how charming a lady can be. She is surely a beauty, isn't she?" He is talking to Andrew, but his eyes are directed to Felicity. Then, he shoots out a smile at her, not his best shot, but at least it doesn't seem awkward.(charm 11)
no subject
"Gorgeous, actually." It was just the truth of it. Andrew was about facts, and that was one that seemed obvious. It came out so matter of factly that he actually managed to come off less awkward and more like someone who knew what he was doing (cha 17).
no subject
She's totally not a vain creature at all.
"Two charming men paying attention to little old me? Today must be my lucky day."
no subject
He suddenly stops and looks at Andrew, noticing something. "Hmm..." Not long, a smile appears on his face indicating that he has found an insight. "You two are quite compatible you know. I can smell people's voices and your voices, they go along with each other."
[ooc:know(life science)20 to find out that Brantley has Synesthesia or know(pop cult)15 for knowing something of that kind.]
no subject
"You can smell voices? What does that even mean?" He's pretty sure you are just making shit up as you go along, Brantley. For being as smart as he is, Andrew should probably just go with it, but that shit was out of left field and he cannot let it go.
no subject
"What does it smell like, exactly?"
no subject
And yes, a literal library, though he knows about the web, he is kind of an old school.
"Well, yours, my lady, smells like sweet cinnamon roll. While my master here, smells like chamomile tea. Quite a couple, right?" A delicious afternoon tea couple.
no subject
"Huh. That's actually a thing." He is scrolling wikipedia now. Good luck getting his attention again.
