At his mentor's request, Brantley immediately takes off to the bar. Dressed in a smart casual attire, he sits at the counter waiting for the arrival of his mentor. Though, in this case, he is the one who does the teaching.
The bar is already filled with a few number of patrons, chatting and sharing one's life memories with each other, but Brantley just sits there, lost in his thought. A bar was never a strange place for Brantley, but when someone goes through the same career path as his, the only friend you could share enjoyable drinks and exciting stories with is yourself.
He waits patiently as he enjoy the moment of peace in the dimly lit bar.

Even if she's there to have fun, she still needs to be careful. She's fresh off a mission and her instincts still tell her to keep a low profile, which means not getting too sloppy with things - not that she ever really did.
She notices Brantley down the way, his face vaguely familiar, but not quite familiar enough for her to place it. Still, at the same time, he's fairly attractive. She'll let that attention linger for a moment, if he doesn't mind.

Not long, the bartender walks toward the lady. He puts a glass of cocktail and the napkin in front of her and walks away without any comment. The clear-colored cocktail, decorated with ice cube and raspberry, reflects light to its viewer. At the same time, the note delivers its message to the reader with its ink-stained skin.
Just something to enjoy the view with.
Meanwhile, Brantley just waits for the women to read his note and for the chance to greet her with a charming smile(cha 17).

Doesn't have to be a view.
When he looks up, she'll be tapping her foot against the lower rung of the bar stool next to her, before raising her eyebrows back at him expectantly.

"The view in this bar is beautiful, isn't it? But it may be hard for you to see without a mirror." Rather than playing it cool, he launches a pretty cheesy pickup line.
no subject
She will turn those cheesy lines back on you if you don't stop her. She has a bit of an appreciation for cheesy. She then extends a hand to him as she does.
"I'm Felicity." She's too tired for an alias tonight.
no subject
"Brantley." He accepts her hand and shakes it gently.
"Well, I'm not sure about appreciative, but I can testify that they are enchanting." Still smiling, he fires the second shot.
wow i am sorry that this took me so long. also I am crashing all these threads for hilarity...

She's having such a nice conversation.
"Enchanting. Good word." She certainly approves. "Got any other ones while you're at it?"
i feel bad for this but the dice surely doesn't
"For a lovely dame like you, of course." He continues his smile throughout the words. "But I might bore you, since you must have heard all compliments in the world." The third time, he adds extra cheese on it.

"Well, a lovely dame like me never minds hearing some of them twice," she grins, resting her chin in her hand as she does. "Flattery can get you everywhere."

"I didn't realize this was the local hangout," She pulls her cigarette out of her mouth, and extinguishes it in an ashtray at the bar. "We keep coming here, they'll have to redo it in a dragon motif."
no subject
"Or some medieval fanboys. Not much different I guess." He chuckles at his own cold joke.

There goes his theory that daiquiris can be manly too.
He recognizes Bambi from the equipment orientation. She was... actually pretty cool. She knew her stuff, at least, and for that, Andrew felt a little more comfortable seeing her there.
"'Lo." He offers her a short greeting as he returns. He doesn't have much more to say so he will just take a sip of his delicious fruity beverage.

She just so happens to be doing it again tonight, setting Brantley's drink in front of him on a lightly salted napkin.
"Waiting for someone?" she asks out of curiosity.
no subject
Brantley smiles and nods. "Yeah, I'm waiting for my mentor. Got some drinks to buy and some lessons to teach."
no subject
But he managed to talk himself into it long enough to get through the bar's doors. He huffed a sigh and glanced around, looking for his squire. By the time he spots the man at the bar, he also notices the extremely attractive woman there and nearly turns right around. This was a bad idea.
"...Hey." He says simply as he walks up and shucks his coat off. He offers Bo an extremely awkward smile before muttering to Brantley. "Sorry I'm late."

It looks like tonight will likely be one of those nights where she's glad she hangs out in a bar.
"What can I get you?" she asks, addressing the newcomer, since his 'teacher' already has his drink.
no subject
He sips his drink, waiting for his mentor to settle down a bit. And before Andrew could say anything, he gives him a piece of advice.
"A quick tip. Don't go to heavy. You don't want to be too drunk to do this." Actually, you don't want to be too drunk to do anything. Except getting drunk, of course.
no subject
"I'll have a... beer." It's boring but safe. Even if he doesn't really like beer much.
no subject
She asks with a smile, leaning casually forward with her hands on the bar. Nevermind that this gives the boys a good view of the goods. Low cut shirts will do that no matter what you do when a girl has curves like she does.
no subject
But, with years' worth of life experience, he manages to regain his thought and makes a save without any further delay.(will 24)
"... a good choice." He smiles casually as if nothing has happened.
no subject
"Uh...b-bottle's fine." He says, addressing her chest.
no subject
She stands straight, grabs a bottle from the cooler, and flicks the cap off the bottle before she sets it in front of him.
"Here you go," she says, before she looks to the other. "So, diplomatic lessons in a bar-like setting. I bet I can guess where this is going." It is her specialty after all. "Anything I can do to help?"
no subject
"Well, Master Andrew, why don't we see what you can do? Try a few lines at our lovely bartender here, maybe." Still smiling, he sips his drink.
