Between the various members of the wedding party, everything comes together just in time for the big event. Within a few weeks' time, the day has finally arrived. Whether they've met or spoken to the bride and groom, the entire isle of Andres is invited to this event. Cool colors are prominent throughout the ceremony set up on the Andres coast. From the bridesmaids dresses to the flower arrangements to the beautiful blue sky and sea, it's a very calming atmosphere.

Once the ceremony is finished, everyone is invited to the reception, held at the Andres palace. There's food, drink, and music. Tables are available, but with such an open guest list, there's no assigned seating- other than the main table up front where the wedding party and their guests will sit last supper style.

[Look she was coming okay Helen but somebody had to bear witness to Dean hurling all over the floor. A+ GF tbh.

Even with no ranks in search, Rose manages to find Helen easily enough (17) and she even has the good sense to grab a bottle of water on the way through (Wis 21) and yet... not enough to keep the look from her face as she dry reaches in sympathy. (WS Crit Fail - Fort Save 27 at least to not sympathy hurl as well.)]

I - brought you some water?

[Gripping the edge of a potted plant, Helen can be found on her knees in the hall, sparing a pathetic glance up at Rose before her stomach clenches again and she hurries to turn back to the soil. (Fort 9...)

She's not...having s great time over here.]

[And we can all thank god for Rose's epic fort save modifier, the brunette looking a little greener as Helen continues to give the plant alcohol poisoning but still managing to hold it together (FS 17).

With a sympathetic grimace, she moves forward to literally hold Helen's hair back while she pukes, setting the bottle down on the ground as she crouches beside her.]

I figured if Dean wasn't doing so well... [Maybe talking about him puking won't help. (Wis 17).] ... Well there's a reason I don't drink with him. [Or, try to keep up anyway.]

[Breathing hard, Helen leans her forearm against the edge of the potted plant and rests her forehead against her arm.]

Bloody hell...

[Regret. So much regret.]

I doubt this night could get much worse.

[When it seems Helen might be done with round two of hurling, Rose runs a hand down her back, not sure if she's really helping any but trying to all the same.]

I don't know. You could be trying to drunkenly seduce Wynn? [Apparently Rose is here to plant hilarious images of the 'it can always be worse' scenario.]

I think making an arse of myself by kissing one man is enough for one night, thank you.

You drunk made out with somebody?! [It's that weird moment when Rose is as impressed as she is not sure if she wants to imagine her maternal figure having a sex life.

[Feeling a bit better (or at least not like she's going to hurl again), Helen sits back on her heels and gives Rose a weary smile.]

Yes, well- I think he's the last of my worries. I've made quite a mess of myself here.

[Rose offers Helen a weak, half smile as she picks up the bottle of water and offers it to her.]

No worse than the mess Dean just made in there. At least you found a pot plant. Last I saw him, he was using napkins to clean up his disaster before Myri saw. [That sure was a Crit Fail on her Wisdom Check. Sorry BF.]

[She looks only a little smug before her stomach twists to remind her that she's still worse off than he was.]

I'm fairly certain that challenging your squire to a drinking contest is frowned upon. Just a guess though.

I'm not entirely sure about that. But thank you. [She lets out a heavy sigh.] You should enjoy the party, dear. I'll just... go clean myself up and tuck in for the night.

You sure? You don't need a hand getting to bed or anything? [Or walking... in a straight line, is what she's really asking.]

Rose, I've been drunk many times in my life, I can assure you. [She starts to get to her feet, wobbling a little.]

And did you have the bruises the next morning to go with it? [Not moving in to help her just yet but still, there, just in case.]

Lumps and all, yes. [She takes a step but has to steady herself against the wall.]

I'm fine, dear. [She's not.]

Sure you are. [With that Nat 20 Sense Motive (Not that she needed it seeing as Helen is being held up by a wall), Rose just stares at Helen for a long moment all 'really?! do you think I'm stupid?']

All the same? [Moving in to offer her a shoulder to lean on.] At least I would feel better if I knew you were tucked away in bed and not making friends with another pot plant.

[With a reluctant sigh, she nods and reaches an arm out so that she can put it around Rose's shoulders and stumble her way back to her room.]

If you insist.

[She really does and upside, with a checks of Str 18 and Dex 19, Helen can pretty much stumble the whole way there using Rose as her own personal walking frame and everything.]

This way Dean will have had a chance to clean himself up before I return so you're doing me a favor as well.

[Helen is better off for the help, really. She tries to guide Rose back to her room, but... crit fails her navigation check. no joke. So unless Rose can figure it out, they're getting so lost.]

She goes to open the door to what she thinks is Helen's room and just sees asscrack. Who's asscrack? We just don't know.]

That was a four okay.] You can crash in my room tonight, I'll stay with Dean.

That's really not necessary. My room is just over- [She stops and looks around.] Hold on... Where are we?

Come on, my room... assuming I can... find it. [Navigation 17! Rose's room is much more promising.] So... how exactly did you end up on a drinking competition with Dean?
