To make up for the fact that a certain couple eloped the night before the Battle for Andres, Bo and Andrew decided to make sure to have a party that would certainly make up for it. There's decorations galore, including a massive Christmas Tree with plenty of room for presents in case anyone wants to exchange gifts mid-party, plenty of tasty snacks to pick at, and more booze than can probably be consumed by the people in attendance, though no doubt they'll certainly try.

Oh, and there's mistletoe everywhere. A certain succubus wouldn't be happy if there wasn't plenty of kissing going on.

Try not to have too much fun, though. You wouldn't want to be too hungover on Christmas morning, would you? Or you could just do what Bo and Andrew are going to do and sleep in til noon. ;)

[She gives him a curious look.] I always forget you're something of a romantic.

[parsecs]

[He scoffs.] Am not. I just... know how to appreciate a good thing when it happens.

[And knows how hard it can be to lose that good thing.]

[daredtobelieve]

[She gives him a little knowing smile.]

Seems like much of the same to me. But call it what you will. It's sweet.

[parsecs]

[That gets a smile out of Han, however reluctantly, and he rolls his eyes a little.] ...have you met our daughter? Jaina?

[daredtobelieve]

I don't think I've had the pleasure.

[parsecs]

She's a great kid. A Jedi. [A beat.] That's... the word for magic users in our galaxy, though it's a little more complicated than that.

[daredtobelieve]

Complicated? How so?

[parsecs]

I ain't one myself, so I'm not the best person to ask. They manipulate the... Force, you see, which binds all living things together and... uh... [He shrugs, looking a little embarrassed.] Sounds like religious nonsense, but it works.

[daredtobelieve]

Fascinating. [She takes another drink of her eggnog.] Did she inherit the trait from her mother, then?

[parsecs]

Yeah. That side of the family is strong in the Force. [Not 100% a good thing. But Luke and Leia are good, at least. And Han knows his kids will be.]

[daredtobelieve]

I'm surprised this is the first we've ever talked about this. It sounds so interesting.

[parsecs]

Well, like I said, it ain’t really my thing. [His expression falls a little.] It ain’t really anyone here’s thing. Makes it hard for the two of them to learn anything more about it.

[daredtobelieve]

I certainly don't want to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but... Han, most of my work involves digging into things I know nothing about until I've learned enough to consider myself an expert. If your daughter has abilities that she would like to explore, I'd be more than happy to give her a safe environment to do so.

[parsecs]

[Han shrugs a shoulder, only giving a hint of his usual lopsided smile.] I’ll let her know. Can’t say for sure how she’ll take it, though. She’s even more stubborn than me. But Leia’ll probably be interested.

[daredtobelieve]

I welcome any and all. No pressure for either of them.

[parsecs]

Yeah, I know. Thanks, Helen. Whether or not they take you up on it.

[daredtobelieve]

Of course. Now, go on- enjoy the rest of the party before I convince you to dance with me.
