Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already.

[ there's nothing in the file about any witnesses having noticed anything (which is what the gather info one is for), but he does notice a few things that might help create a picture of it: the wounds on the bodies indicate that the creature responsible has claws at least 6 inches long, and a bite radius of more than 12 inches. forensic information included notes that similar or identical fur was found on and around both bodies, indicating that the animal is some kind of predatory feline. most of the marks on the bodies are bites, indicating that either the victims put up very little resistance, or the animal had some way of subduing them while it ate.

[ he nods ] A middle-aged white human male named Percival Evans, was found on one of the docks, where he worked as a longshoreman.

The second victim was a 19 year old Latino human male named Emilio Sanchez. His body was found in an alley behind a condemned building downtown. He had no reported place of employment.

[will decides to announce the most disturbing part of his findings to the room first, without looking up:] They didn't fight back.

Do you think it had some kind of way of sedating its victims?

[Because that's better than the...alternatives? Maybe? Unsure?]

Makes more sense than Percy and Emilio volunteering to be Meow Mix.

[he shrugs in response to sam.] Seems like a predatory feline, otherwise. You know any Shadowkind creatures that fit the profile?

There are several creatures that could fall under that description. I've come across a sphinx or two that could cast spells, which may explain the lack of struggle. But without more information, or a picture of the creature itself, it would be hard to say for just what exactly we're going up against.

We should ask around, make sure nobody saw anything. If this thing is as big as it looks, I find it hard to believe nobody's spotted it running around the middle of the city.

Let's get moving, then. Maybe we can find this thing before it gets to anyone else.

Is it too late to get a tox screen on the bodies?

We can certainly request one, but it may take a few days to get results.

I was just — if it was something, like, say, a venom the creature was producing, it would narrow the scope of what we could be dealing with.

So we scope out the scene, see if we can find a connection between the victims, and wait on the tox screen. Looks like a place to start.

[ wynn nods to dismiss them, adding: ] Sir Magnus will be operations leader for this mission. She can decide which scene to investigate first - or if you'd like to divide and conquer.

I think it might be most advantageous for us to try to sweep both scenes separately to compare information and move forward from there. Francesca, Will, Sam- you'll start here. [She slides them the file of the attack that's being called a dog attack] Dean and I will look into the other.

[She pulls up a map on her phone and finds some location that's roughly between the two.]

We'll meet here once we've done a thorough search. But if anything seems off, you call us right away. Understood?

You've both told me about your experience with hunting and tracking creatures such as these. I think that background is best suited to serve both groups for these preliminary sweeps.
