Andres has been quite the distraction from the looming problem of what's to be done about Dimitris' compatriots in the cult of the Church of the Lord's Humanity. Having learned during the retaking of the Isle that the Church leader, Draken Crombe, has been impersonating NOVA Records mogul Chad Becksworth for years in order to gain access to the company's resources, keeping tabs on his movements has become even more pressing.

His next scheduled appearance? At the upcoming 2015 Grammy's. And considering that the Church was behind the disaster in New York last year, where hundreds of Shadowkind were brainwashed into committing suicide in the Hudson River, it's only logical that Wynn intends to send his own forces to attempt to avert any other large scale catastrophes.

But that's not all. There have been some further twists in the story, and it may be time for them all to come to light. To that end, Wynn has asked many of those involved with the mission to gather, whether they'll be sent to the awards show with the team or not.

He's asked Myrilandel and Violet to come before the others.*

[Spike's will save of 27 means that he does not punch Archer in the face, though the temptation's definitely there. Vi gets a glare too, for encouraging him. Then he turns back to Lazarus. This could actually be helpful.]

Would that work? If we could get the necklace away from her? Or destroy it?

That depends on the nature of their pact, and on the strength of their connection. If he has that much influence over her already, attempting to remove the necklace against her will may simply cause her mind to... crack.

Perhaps, but she has not willingly removed the necklace herself yet.

But if someone convinced her to ...

It would still be dangerous. But possible.

It's not a might, it will kill her. [ all the levity archer gave her for a brief moment is disappearing as she thinks about the past year, but she manages to maintain a calm mask (will save 26). if vi had to suffer through that any longer than she did... well, it's probably lucky no one really ever realized how close she'd been. ] I basically had to bribe Jade to get her to take hers off and even then she wasn't exactly jumping to get it out of her hands. It's gonna have to be Spike or Myri, someone she has a connection with.

[Now that she's got Nadia back to the forefront of her mind, she's not gonna let that one go.]

Do we think it's safe for Myri to talk to Nadia? I thought you were going to stay back unless we needed healing.

She'll have us to watch her back. With enough people on watch, we should be able to get her out of the way if someone tries to intervene.

She'll have me right there with her. [If there's anyone Spike trusts to keep Myri safe, it's himself. Second only to maybe Buffy, but it makes more sense for him to be the one talking to Nadia. She knows him already, and he did promise.]

If Malaak'a has a connection to Nadia, it's possible that he'll hear anything you say to her. Be careful that you don't reveal too much about what we know, until that connection is severed.

Is Nadia supposed to perform before or after Keijen? Cause people were getting mind whammied when she performed in New York. [And by people she means Spike, if that quick glance in his direction is anything to go by.]
