Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already.

lissa looks at max nervously, folding her hands together in her lap. ]

Not particularly how I envisioned seeing Paris. How many bodies have been discovered, exactly?

Twelve. And those are just the ones that have been found.

[ she blanches at the body count, color draining from her pale face, already not wanting to know more yet nodding her acknowledgement all the same. the last vampire she stumbled into on a mission threw her into a wall and knocked her unconscious, to say she's not looking forward to experiencing that again would be an understatement. ]

Alright. Do we have an idea of where they might be holed up? Going off the locations of their kills?

I'll be sending you a map of where the bodies were found. You can scour it for patterns, stake out the areas and see what you can learn.

That does sound straight forward. [She raises her eyebrows a bit. It's almost too easy tbh.]

[ her eyes flicker to max for a moment. he had sort of mentioned to her that she should steer clear of vampire things for her own safety, considering her particular brand of vampirism. she licks her lips, nervous, but tries to drum up a confident smile. it does not work. ] When do we leave?

Tonight. I'll leave it up to your discretion how best to manage the situation. If there is a clan involved, perhaps we can resolve the situation ... diplomatically. But those who have been killing innocents must answer in some way for what they've done.

[daredtobelieve]

We'll assess the best course of action and use our resources accordingly. [Helen says with a small nod.] Who will be taking lead, sir?

[Faith glance to Helen when she's put in charge, but she doesn't really think too much on it. She'll get up and go get some stuff thrown together for traveling to France.]

Thank you, sir. [ she gets up after faith, reaching out to take max's hand and drag him with her so she can fret in private. ]
