The Knights arrive in Aursaburg to help the villagers with a problem they've been having with a local witch. The little village seems fairly quiet, but the team would be able to hear some rather heated words spoken a bit down the road from them. It escalates to shouting in a hurry, with the most noticeable word of the bunch being 'witch.' Faye glances at the others, realizing that oh shit- I'm in charge. Squaring her shoulders, she gestures for the group to follow her down the road.

"Sounds like our cue." Whatever is going on in this town seems to be happening thatta way.

[Yep, that gets the pearl out of her grasp. And with the hag dead, it doesn't really have any way to transfer the magical mojo elsewhere. Autumn collapses to the floor but a spot of 20+ will see the effects slowly receding. Faye fails it miserably and takes a step back. She's seen the Ring okay. Not interested...]

[With a Nat 20 Spot check, Kenzi continues to look like she's making questionable life choices. Stepping over to Autumn as Faye steps back.]

Hey... lady person. Are you... okay? [Crouching down beside her.] Scale of one to ten?

[Cora also notices, being all up in Autumn's grill as she is (spot 28), and she gives her a small smile as she does.]

It's okay. We're here to help.

[Autumn draws a shaky breath and let's it out slowly.

"I think... I-- thank you. Thank you so much. I... She almost-"]

[There's another small smile.]

C'mon, let's get you home. Your mom has been worried sick.

[Autumn nods and moves to stand, feeling unsteady, but at least a little strengthened by the idea of seeing her mother.
