She takes the seat, settling in gracefully and crossing her legs, hands in her lap.] Have you sorted out who you want on your team then?

[She tries to very quickly shuffle through the faces on the plane to make sure she hasn't left anyone out. She knows Luthir has other obligations, so that would be everyone then.
She gives a sigh, almost in relief.] Well, that's settled then. Only [She glances at the clock on her phone.] five hours left to go. [She smirks.]

We could always find a way to fill the long hours.

speaking of blatant innuendosShe laughs, quickly turning her face from him. Luckily she can't blush.]And what do you suggest, Sir Bancroft? Something stimulating, I hope.

But I suppose we face certain limitations here and now. So what do you say to a round of ... Truth or Dare?

... Dare.

She whispers] I dare you... [with extra breath behind her words to emphasize them] to pick a fight with Katniss. [She pauses, still at his ear.] Take that as you will.
[And she leans back just enough to be able to see his face. After a few moments of challenging closeness she shifts to sit on the armrest behind her and crosses her arms, waiting.]

Done. [And merrily gets up and goes to plonk down next to Katniss. In that... thread down there.]

Of course, Katniss' comment about Christos finding and saving her ignites a beaming smile on Francesca's face, her belly warm with all sorts of fuzzy feelings.]

Is it my turn then? Because I'll pick truth. But be discreet. [And she laughs as she says it because Thomas and discreet are not two things that ever go together.]

[And he grins at her choice. Still, he'll be good for this round.] If La Krail ran this plane into the ocean, which of us would you prefer to be stuck on a desert island with? In terms of usefulness, of course.
... And you have to explain your reasoning in full, naturally.

[and secondly, for the record:] But honestly, I think any member of this team would be a good pick. That's a tough one. [But not really.
She turns her entire body back to Thomas, keeping the space between them quite intimate, mostly just to limit others overhearing, as impossible as that might be.]
Luthir would be a good choice because of his fighting capabilities and survival skills, but he's a bit more reserved, as am I, so I would be afraid of not being socially satisfied, and that would drive me crazy.
And Katniss seems like she can handle her own as well, and is quite resourceful, but she doesn't have a real sense of fondness for me yet, which I would prefer when relying on them solely to help me find food and shelter. I would want to make sure they had a reason to share.
As for Arthur and Ethan, both have received royal training, but neither of them have been forced to fend for themselves, as far as I know, so they might not be able to hold up the end of their scavenging responsibilities.
I don't know much about Merlin, and a wizard would be bloody useful for making fire and food and such. But he's a little smaller in build, and I would need someone to make up for my lack of physical strength. Lifting heavy things, moving rocks, and so forth.
So that leaves... [She trails off as her gaze casually sweeps across Thomas' frame, sizing him up, and weighing her options.] Well, you seem like a decent choice, but I'm afraid I would bore you. I wouldn't want to stick someone like you on an island with someone like me.
So I guess [And she sounds a little more cheerful about this than she intends to.] I would choose Christos. He has excellent survival skills, and can defend himself and others quite effectively. I don't think I annoy him, too much. I know he'll share with me, and keep me company. And he can lift heavy things.
I've known him the longest, so we're already used to each other's strange habits and moods, for the most part. [Wow, she could probably continue this rambling for hours, but realizes there's no need. She's made her point well enough. And now, thanks to Thomas, she has months of desert island fantasies to look forward to.
She leans back, meeting Thomas' eyes to see if he accepts her answer.]

He rubs his chin thoughtfully, smile still intact as his eyes flash conspiratorially across the others. He gets a good chuckle in over some of her responses, even if they aren't half as mean as he was hoping for. His eyes crinkle mischievously at her response to him, and her inevitable selection of Christos, but he makes no commentary about it. Well, almost none, as he clucks his tongue.] Christos is a lucky man.
If I didn't know any better, I might have thought you had already considered this precise scenario. No hesitation whatsoever in listing out our flaws! [He smirks and pats her hand, and then turns his gaze to the rest of the plane's inhabitants, casting them around until they land on the young King.]
Arthur! Truth or dare?
no subject
I told you I was boring. [But thank the gods he's decided to include the rest of the plane. Makes it much more interesting and much less tense. She turns back to look at Arthur as well, a mischievous smile on her lips.]
no subject
Er, pardon?
[ But he knows he heard correctly, and even if the anti-nausea medication has left him a little too abstract to have listened in long enough to know quite what it means, he imagines he just has to pick one. It's difficult: he values veracity and daring equally. ]
T....ruth?
no subject
[He holds up a hand] And you get a pass if you honestly don't recall, naturally, but if you make up a tale, none of us are like to know.
