[This log is for any in-flight interactions on the Knight's SUPER STEALTHY ~~X-JET~~ jet plane ride to the mission site. Feel free to make your own threads/threadjack, etc. The flight time is approx nine and a half hours. Get to know your teammates, talk about the mission, ask questions, etc. etc.]

Either way, you're still the winner.

[Time to chipper this up a bit. Well, as chipper as she could actually ever be.] And I'll gladly cling to my bragging rights. [She gives him a winning smile, to show how pleased she really is.] At least you got there eventually, even if you were obviously my very first choice.

Well, really. Who else would you have chosen?

Thomas was a close second.

How close?

[She shakes her head, unable to keep up the facade for long. She chuckles as she says:] Not even remotely close. You're the only desert-island-surviving partner for me. [She doesn't even trip over that one, as she holds her hand to her chest to display sincerity.]

I thought so. [There's a beat, as he seems to realize how all this sounds, and then he trains his attention back on the instruments. Awk...ward...]

[She watches him for a couple moments and when he doesn't say anything else she asks curiously:] What's wrong?

[His eyes skate back towards the readouts and then to her] Nothing.

Why does something have to be wrong?

I didn't say something had to be wrong, it just felt like something... was, suddenly. I just thought I might have said something wrong. [But this is getting to close to talking about feelings, so she knows she better back off.] Anyway, now that we have that dilemma settled -- the desert island one, that is -- would you care to ask me something? [It's a long flight dude.]

[Well. Now he doesn't know where to take this conversation.] Such as?

Well, that's kind of how this works. I asked you a question, or scenario might be more accurate, and then respond in kind. [Don't make her diplomacy check you...]

I thought I wasn't playing.

I know, I know. You just seemed to be enjoying yourself, so I wanted to give you a chance to reconsider.

I can't say I'm particularly well versed at inventing hypothetical scenarios.

[Isn't that what you spend all your time contemplating, you paranoid bastard?] Well, it can be just a simple question as well, rather than some elaborate situation.

[It's pretty much his only hobby.]

It seems a rather prescribed manner of holding a conversation.

Well, it's usually used as an excuse to ask questions and expose secrets you normally wouldn't disclose, but now can, under the guise of following the rules. [She pauses, realizing this might come across as self-incriminating.] So, you're right, I'm not quite sure why I brought it up. [She chuckles.] Oh, right, you brought it up.

I'm certain I would remember bringing something like that up.

[She gives him an incredulous look.] You don't remember bringing that up?

[Just this face.]

I can't recall.

[WAT EVEN WITH THAT FACE? It's ridiculous he can force others to abide by his delusions, but, then again, it seems even more ridiculous to argue with someone about something you both know is true. Especially when it's so trivial.

She sighs, slumping back in the seat.] Well, regardless of who brought it up, I was merely suggesting it was a poor choice of game for us, is all.

Perhaps we might simply continue with your flying lessons.

[Wait, does this mean he wants to hold her hand again, because she'd totally be down for that ;) And she perks right back up, scooting to the edge of her seat, hands folded in her lap.] What exactly makes an airplane stay in the air?

[And he'll launch into a long technical explanation because he sure does love the sound of his own voice. Forever.]
