Instead of being directed to come to the Round Table, this group is instructed to meet at the downtown London Headquarters, told that this meeting has to do with the Children of Chaos, and that while only Francesca, Lydia, Will, Cora, Sam, and Sydney will be going into the field, Wynn would like input from everyone who has interacted with the cult in the past couple years.

For those who haven't yet been there, the main lobby area boasts an impressive silver dragon statue, about seven feet tall, immediately to the right of the entrance. The room is done in comforting wood and mahogany tones, and there's an array of tables and chairs across the room to the right, as well as a small piano. Statues of King Arthur and Lancelot flank the hallway that continues straight beyond the lobby, and there's a staircase leading up, with wooden dragon-shaped banisters, immediately beyond the bathroom door to the right.

On the left are two doors, and one of them leads into a room which also has a small reception window open, where they are received Between the doors hangs an ornate blue and silver tapestry with even more dragon imagery. It is an exercise in subtlety all around.

The woman working reception directs them each to head up the steps to the third floor, head to the end of the hall and take a right to the holo-room.

Yeah, that's right. They have a holo-room.

Walking in, it's possible to find Wynn standing over the much smaller holographic table, Tia, Eric, Faith, and Val'drin already in attendance.  

On the table sit two idols: both carved from hardwood, stained a deep, rich shade of brown.  Both are approximately 8 inches tall and 5 inches around at the thickest point, depicting a naked men standing with their arms at their sides.  One is emaciated and the other is obese.  Their faces are either horribly disfigured, or they're wearing masks.

There's someone else in attendance as well...

[ squints at the return volley of russian. hmmm. ]

[Archer stumbles in late, reeking of Whiskey, and he stops and glares at the pair of statues.]

Oh, this is just what hungover Archer needed - Creepy murder statues. Oh, and a dog. Hooray for that.

[He unceremoniously situates himself in a chair.]

[lemon takes a break from receiving love and affection from teenage girls to make a small barking noise at archer like hey fuck you too buddy.]

Lemon, no.

[Cora's attention is drawn from Lemon by that as well, and while she's not surprised, because it's Archer, she's also not amused either. So there is a nice narrow-eyed look at that. Leave Lemon alone, Archer.]

[Sark tilts his head in Wynn's general direction and just.... slow blinks for a second, and then he addresses Val'drin, because he seems like the sort of person who'd know.] I don't suppose you keep any wine on hand in this building? Or a decent bubbly, for that matter.

[At least not the last to arrive, Rose wanders in just after Archer, danish in hand, eyeing 'Bruce' like bitch, I am not sharing this with you, you already ate your way through thanksgiving.]

I take it he's new... [Thrown in Sam's direction on the back of Sark's query as she folds herself into a chair.

Have you met half the Knights? She knows at least Archer has one hip flask on his person right now.]

[familybusiness]

[There's a brief quirk of his mouth at Rose. Too true, Rose. Too true.]

Yup.

[And then a query, in classic Winchester form.]

Where's Dean?

[/coughspeakingofalcoholcough]

Right behind you. [ in fact, he's just gonna smack sam lovingly upside the back of the head as he walks by to drive that home. ] "Where's Dean". You think I'm gonna miss this?

[ to sark: ] We tend to keep some on hand for special occasions. I suppose time will reveal if this is one such.

[ sydney bristow is the next one through the door, and she's distracted from even so much as noticing sark initially by dean's casual violence drawing her eye. ] Glad to see we're all getting along already.

[familybusiness]

[Outwardly, Sam gives Dean an irritated look, but internally it's...something else.

Hey, Sam will take anything that feels normal, okay.]

Well, I'd hope not.

[Oh, but Sark notices Sydney. There's the first flicker of actual emotion in his eyes as he watches her walk in- for all purposes looking like perhaps he's seen a ghost. He finally stands, eyes never leaving her face.

When he speaks, he manages to shake off his initial surprise, voice cool and complacent as its been since he first started speaking.] Agent Bristow. I might have guessed if you found your way to this side of the Veil, I'd find you with this lot.

[ Lydia sits forward because Sydney is relevant to her interests. ]

You two know each other?

[ She looks at Sydney to answer that, btw. Not Sark. Men don't get opinions. ]

[ the voice draws her attention immediately, and she turns to stare at him when he addresses her with so much familiarity, studying him with uncertainty for a moment before lydia manages to draw a reply out of her, although she can't hide being a little bit rattled since a 24 bluff isn't great for her ] He seems to know me, at least. [ there's a slight frown in her words, as she continues to scan his features for any hint of recognition. she's surprised by how unfriendly her own voice reflexively sounds as she says: ] I can't say the feeling is mutual.

[He blinks at her steadily, but his expression shows no hint of emotion that he feels one way or another about this.]

No, I imagine not. The Veil takes something from us all, doesn't it? [He cants his head at her, as he sits back down.] We worked together once. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward for the chance to work with you again. I know you only have my word on it, but we were quite a team back in the day. We work well together.

[bittersweeter]

Sounds like you have a stalker, Syd.

[Sark lets his gaze settle on Lila for a moment, but his expression is still eerily blank, suggesting nothing other than him turning to look at her because she'd spoken.]

I suppose I have more to prove than I expected. [whatever that means...

and he settles back into his chair to wait for the rest of the group, brushing away the moment as if it never happened.]

[ syd doesn't unsettled by the stalker remark, because there's really nothing in his demeanor to suggest that he isn't just... being honest. she's more bothered by the fact that she had managed to convince herself that maybe she hadn't lost anything, or much. this was the first time she'd been confronted with any real evidence to the contrary, and it felt a great deal like someone had pulled the rug out from under her. she manages to pull herself together nicely though, having a seat primly, even as she responds: ] It looks like we'll at least have some... catching up to do.

[ After a moment's thoughtful silence, Lydia raises one hand and loudly suggests, ] How about we catch up on the murder statues first?

[mydesigns]

That sounds great. [not hear for y'all's episode of as the world turns tbh. lemon goes over to lila and tries to stick his nose up her skirt.]

[Sark glances at Wynn.] Is this everyone?

[ looking at her watch, she gently crosses her legs. lemon, child, no. ] No.

[ presumably it's supposed to be everyone that's been involved in the children of chaos so they're at least missing two people from lila's mission. ]

Not quite. [ wynn assents ] It shouldn't be long now.

[ strolling in at the last minute, the sharp clicking of heels announces francesca's presence before she takes her place around the hologram table, probably near sydney and... val'drin, because she's dumb. her eyes briefly scan the crowd, lingering on one or two familiar faces. she offers will graham half a smile in greeting, then turns her attention to the hologram man in the center of the table, without saying much of anything. ]
