A bullet is hardly gentle. They tear through muscle and flesh, fragments breaking off and creating searing pain.

Choking someone... it slowly removes their oxygen, their vision blurring at the sides as it gets a bit darker bit by bit. They're looking into your eyes, and you know that it's you that's doing this for them. Letting them go into that drift of eternity... [She seems a bit ... off in her own thoughts here.] It's that moment where you're holding their life literally in your own hands and in a moment you could just let go and they'd sputter and gasp, that quick sucking breath into lungs so fast that it stings, it reminds you that you're alive.
