[ Vi's baby comes first, the labor pangs beginning around 9pm on the 14th, while she's alone, watching TV.

Myri's wake her up in the middle of the night, at 4am, on June 28th.  ]

[Elena's excitement is adorable, to be honest. Myri smiles wider and hands over her daughter, feeling a strange emptiness in her arms as soon as she's gone. Oh, that's going to take some getting used to. But she's thrilled to see Elena and the baby so that helps.]

[Her handle animal check was a 26, so she also looks like she totally knows what she's doing, and once she has the baby cradled comfortably in her arms, she slides over to be closer to Myri, so she can still stay as close to her little one as possible.]

Okay, so maybe she's still pretty little. [She looks down into baby's pretty eyes, smiling.] Hello, Shayla.

[With that check, Shayla is just pleased as punch to have Elena holding her, even granting her a smile and an excited jerk of her arms.]

I think that's her way of saying "Hello, Aunt Elena." [Myri says with a little laugh.]

Close enough. I'll take it. She's a genius.

[She grins down at the baby.]

That's right. Aunt Elena is totally your favorite Aunt. You have excellent taste.

[Myri shakes her head and laughs.]

Picking favorites already, is she? I should have known she would start trouble early.

Of course. The youngest Aunt is always the coolest. We stay hip longer.

And when she gets into trouble, I'll know where to look first. [Myri teases, but lets be real here... All of the aunts and uncles would find a way to get Shayla into trouble in one way or another. She has no doubt of that.]

[She laughs and shrugs like nbd.]

I thought that much was obvious. I'll make sure she knows how to get out of it too, though.

[She nods before she hands Shayla back to her mother.]

I was planning on driving out into the city today. Do you want me to bring you back anything?
