The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Yeah. [Like basically every day of his life.] I guess I went on autopilot. Do you think we should change?

[looks around] They have already seen us arrive, and no one is throwing us out. I think we will survive as long as we don't draw attention to ourselves too much, yes?

Good point. [He seems to relax a little at that.] Sorry- I'm Clark. [He offers a hand to shake. He'll be careful not to crush your hand with super strength, though.]

So what brought you here?

Have you met your knight? Are they nice?

I have met him, yes. He is very interesting. Not like men I have met before. But I am still getting to know him. How about you?

She's...persuasive. [He points across the room to Bo. Yeah... That's who is in charge of him.]

[his eyes follow the direction of the finger and he sees her, then smiles]

Ah, Bo. I did meet her. She is a very interesting woman.

That's a word for it. [She sort of made out with him to heal up after he saved her life. It's a strange relationship to say the least.]

She seems really invested in what this organization stands for.

She told me that she has been here awhile. I'm sure she will have a lot to teach you - and then you of course can show me.
