OPEN - (1: Natasha setting up blind dates for Steve Rogers / 2: dates with Steve Rogers)

WHO ||

1). PART ONE is: Natasha Romanoff + any ladies in particular of the castle who are at least over 18. (Please read this for more details, including how to sign up.)

2). PART TWO is: Steve Rogers + his dates!

WHAT || If you specified that you wanted to play out the initial interaction with Natasha, this is what is happening in the first part of this log. The second part of the log is the actual dates!

There will be a thread starter (edit: here now! ) for the initial interaction with Natasha (I'd rather multi-thread this than have it single thread, for the sake of my sanity). Jesse, however, is the guy to talk to about starters for the dates with Steve.

WHERE || In and around the castle, with Natasha. For Steve, anywhere the date is happening.
WHEN || Natasha and Steve talked again at the April after party, so we can say this is ... May/June? I can adjust if needed, however.
HOW || Prose or action.

[ Without much thought he takes Kate hand to better lead her into the park and through some of the hordes of people. It's a easier way to move and it assures him that they'll stay close together and not get split up. ]

Do you like theme parks? I wanted to try something fun. And if I drive you crazy then you can always ditch me in the crowd. [ He's joking. Sorta. Please don't ditch him. ]

I ... don't know, actually.

[Her eyes scan the area as she lets Steve lead, keeping close behind him so she can just move in his wake.]

This is probably going to sound a little weird, but this is my first one.

[That she can remember anyway.]

[ Steve brings them to a halt in front of what looks like a drink stand when she says this is her first one. Because even Steve's been to Coney Island back home. It's not like this, but it's got rides and stuff. Ones that used to make Steve throw up when he was younger. ]

Really? Wow. That's a lot of pressure. I feel like I have a big day ahead of me now. I have to completely make sure you have an awesome time.

[She laughs before waving her hand.]

If it makes you feel better, it's probably not my actual first one. I just ... don't remember anything from before I came through the Veil, and I haven't really had the chance to go to one in the last couple years.

Well, unless you remember those times then not really. [ Because he's still got a heck of an impression to make sure he gets right. ] We should definitely start with something fun then. You wanna find a rollercoaster or try to ease into things?

[She considers for a moment, before smirking.]

I'm not really the ease into things type. Go big or go home.

That's the spirt. 'atta, girl.

[ Steve grins and holds out his hand for her to take. He wiggles his fingers a bit. ]

Let's go find us a big coaster then. Make ourselves sick.

[She laughs before taking his hand with a nod.]

Let's do it.

[And hope their fortitude saves are with them.]

[ It takes a few minutes with Steve leading them through crowds before he arrives at something that even looks remotely intimidating. He looks at Kate and then up at the coaster. ]

I'm regretting my brave talk. Cause that's pretty big. [ He smiles. ]

[She laughs at that, before taking a few steps forward to tug him towards the line.]

Time to put your money where your mouth is.

[Because she is not the type to back down from a challenge, so don't chicken out on her now.]

[ Steve's a big guy. If he wanted to stand firm and not move then he probably could. He did however give up and let her tug him along to the line of this rollercoaster. He's really hoping he doesn't barf in front of her. That will be super embarrassing. ]

If somehow I get flung off and die then I'm gonna haunt you.

Oh, relax, Captain. You said it yourself, you've seen aliens pour out of the sky. What harm is a little roller coaster going to do?

[Though she's going to wind up eating her words because she's going to be looking a little green herself when the ride is over (fort save 8).]

Alright. This is all on you if it backfires.

[ Apparently the serum has managed to make tolerating roller coasters easier because Steve looks fine when he steps off (fort save 29). Get it together, Kate. ]

You okay? [ He asks with a half smile. ]

[She nods, before glancing around at the rest of the park.]

Maybe we should try a ride that's a little smoother next.

[ He can't hold back his laughter anymore. He nods though because maybe she's right. ]

You wanna have a seat for a bit? Wait for your stomach to settle?

[killmypatience]

[She shakes her head.]

Nah, I think I'll be good if I just stay on the ground for a bit.

[ He cracks a smile and nods his head. ]

Alright. Come on. Let's see if we can find a nice on the ground ride?

[She nods with a small smile.]

Sounds good to me.

[And off they go to have a day of fun and adventures and we can pick them up in the aftermath post! /scene?]
