2). PART TWO is: Steve Rogers + his dates!

WHAT || If you specified that you wanted to play out the initial interaction with Natasha, this is what is happening in the first part of this log. The second part of the log is the actual dates!

There will be a thread starter (edit: here now! ) for the initial interaction with Natasha (I'd rather multi-thread this than have it single thread, for the sake of my sanity). Jesse, however, is the guy to talk to about starters for the dates with Steve.

WHERE || In and around the castle, with Natasha. For Steve, anywhere the date is happening.
WHEN || Natasha and Steve talked again at the April after party, so we can say this is ... May/June? I can adjust if needed, however.

A bubble of laughter escapes as the hostess returns to bring them to their table, but Winter doesn't pause in replying as they wind through the tables to approach their own in a slightly less occupied corner.

"Luckily we're Jewish so I escaped a horrifying fate such as that. I did go to primary school with a girl named Meredith, though. She married a boy named Nicholas Christmas, so now her name is Merry Christmas."

True story.

As they head for their table Winter tells him a story that Steve isn't entirely sure is true. He does smile though. He moves to her chair once the hostess leaves them there and pulls it out for Winter. "That's totally a made up story isn't it?" Because there's no way there's a woman who has the name Merry Christmas. It just--don't tell him lies, Winter. "You can't possibly know a Merry Christmas."

"I do!" And to prove it, she pulls out her phone as she murmurs a thank you to him for holding her chair, that's sweet as hell oh my god. She pulls up facebook and finds Meredith, waiting until he's seated to turn the phone for him to see that she is, indeed, called Merry Christmas.

"See?"

Once she's settled Steve rounds the table to find his own seat. He sits down and leans forwward to look at what she's showing him. He looks at her and then back at the phone. "Alright, alright." He holds up his hands and leans back with a smile. "You're right. Wow. It must get really rough for that girl around Christmas." He can't imagine having a name like Merry Christmas to contend with on the holidays. "She must've really loved that guy to take that last name."

"Guess so." She grins, thinking about it. Love makes her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. "People do strange things when they're in love, though."

"Yeah. I know that one. I had a few guys in my company who did a bunch of crazy things for the women they loved." Plus Natasha's longing to find Bruce back home. He's not sure if Nat would ever call it love, but it was something. Something that Steve fully believed could have worked if Bruce hadn't left like that. "It can turn you in a completely different person. Sometimes for the better." And sometimes for worse.
