[Rose's eyes flutter closed for a moment, not only accepting the comfort that's so freely give but to allow it to settle over her. To still the spiral of thoughts in her head, calm the surging emotion. Another time. Another place; one with far less witnesses at least and Rose would have been more comfortable with speaking freely but there were just some conversations she'd have with Alainn, that she didn't want to be shared with everyone here.

Rose does hear the underlying concern in Alainn's tone, the words that aren't being said (SM 24) and she pulls back just enough to meet her gaze, wanting her to see what she might be unwilling to say out loud. Yes. It's been hard but she's not at breaking point and there's an honesty on what she says next.]
