There isn't much warning at all that this briefing is about to occur. In fact, they're told to come 'immediately' rather than given a time. Instead of being directed to come to the Round Table, however, they are instructed to meet at the downtown London Headquarters. For those who haven't yet been there, the main lobby area boasts an impressive silver dragon statue, about seven feet tall, immediately to the right of the entrance. The room is done in comforting wood and mahogany tones, and there's an array of tables and chairs across the room to the right, as well as a small piano. Statues of King Arthur and Lancelot flank the hallway that continues straight beyond the lobby, and there's a staircase leading up, with wooden dragon-shaped banisters, immediately beyond the bathroom door to the right.

On the left are two doors, and one of them leads into a room which also has a small reception window open, where they are received Between the doors hangs an ornate blue and silver tapestry with even more dragon imagery. It is an exercise in subtlety all around.

The woman working reception directs them each to head up the steps to the third floor, head to the end of the hall and take a right to the holo-room.

Yeah, that's right. They have a holo-room.

Walking in, it's possible to find Wynn waiting next to a neatly coiffed woman who they have never seen before...

[Hell yeah, holo-rooms.

Anyway, once Natasha gets to the downtown HQ, she follows the directions and goes into said room, offering a small nod in greeting to Wynn.]

[Derek had never been to the London office before - he had only returned back to London proper back two months ago now. But he makes his way there after leaving a note for his sister that he was being summoned to a mission and will be in touch.

He walked into the holo-room and he skeptically eyed the technology before nodding to Wynn and the woman as he silently took his seat. Wolf of few words.]

[Clint is sufficiently wowed by all the incredibly subtle imagery, and even more so by the holo-room. As he takes his place in the room, he speaks in a serious tone.]

Well, holo everyone. Any idea why they're dragon us out here to early in the knight?

[krasnayapautina]

[Natasha just.

Gives him A Look.

Really Clint? REALLY??]

[recycling]

[ davin walks in just in time to catch that and adds his own Look to the pile ] Seriously?

[Clint just grins and shrugs.]

Hey, the way I figure, this was my last chance before things get serious. Might as well shake the puns out now.

[He folds his arms and leans back against the wall, satisfied for now.]

[ Standing besides Wynn, Peggy looks a little like she's stepped out of a different time. Not wholly inaccurate, really, but that's by the by right now. There are much more important matters at hand.

The quips earn a delicate arch of her brow, but no comment made, at least for now. She turns her head towards Wynn. ]

Shall we begin?

[ wynn nods to her, before affording an introduction ] This is Peggy Carter, special liason from the London Police Department. She's here by request of Captain Jared O'Keefe to work with us in regards to this incident.

[bloodygood]

[ Taking her cue, Peggy steps forward a little, affording a small genial smile to those around. ]

Good afternoon. Thank you all for coming at such short notice. Now I'm sure you're all at this point at least aware of the unfortunate incident on the London Underground this week.

[recycling]

A train went off the tracks or something? [ he looks to wynn as if for confirmation, before looking back at peggy ]

That's correct, yes. But we fear there may be far much more at play than a simple derailment.

[grumpypuppy]

Attack on the city, or a specific person in the train?

[wynn]

Our instinct is that it was to cast a wider net. The derailment has put a significant portion of the city's subway system out of commission entirely, and repairs are slow-going at best. It gives us an opportunity to join the police in investigating the site - and some disappearances and murders that have been previously linked to the area.

Disappearances and murders?

[bloodygood]

Yes. People go missing all the time of course, but the area around this station in particular appears to have a disproportionately high number attributed to it. There's the usual of course, homeless people, vagrants and such like, but perhaps more concerning there have been others too, professionals. Not the sort that tend to simply up and disappear.

And of course now the accident.

No one's had any idea what's been happening to these people?

[bloodygood]

That's what we're hoping you might be able to help with. We believe this to be rather specialist. There's certainly more to this than appears. The derailment in particular is far from the norm, and the suggestion of shadow creatures being involved has been posed more than once.

[wynn]

We want to take advantage of this opportunity while we have it. Hopefully, we can uncover the root of the problem.

[grumpypuppy]

Do we have access to the map of the system, including closed lines that may junction off there?

[bloodygood]

[ She takes a moment, turning aside to fetch and unfold a large piece of paper before laying it out in front of them. ]

A schematic of the station. We have other files for you to examine.

[grumpypuppy]

[He crossed his arms, nodding]

We may as well get started, and then go into the tubes to see what we can find from there.

[wynn]

Very well. Agent Carter will accompany you, and get you through the police barrier.

Any final questions?

[grumpypuppy]

[Derek sat back and shook his head. He was good until he got to look at the map and files.]
