[  Jaina Solo has been searching for more information about the Jedi Order and the Force for years now, certain that she and her family can't be the only ones who fell through from a galaxy far, far away.  It would seem that her search has finally paid off:  a Jedi Master may have been recently seen in Malaysia, taking a boat to the island of Luzon, where she was discovered dead on the slopes of a volcano.

With the fallen Jedi's lightsaber in hand, Jaina has asked her friends and family to help her investigate, and try to recover the lost item that the Jedi was carrying on her person - one that was not left with the body.    They've decided to head to the port first, to see what rumors may be left in her wake.  The beautiful Malaysia port of Kudat looks out over inviting blue waters, a number of ships lined up here of all shapes and sizes.  ]

[Miles just watches all this sass unfold with a grin before he turns back to look out ahead of them and see how far they are from wherever they're going.]

[ the dock is actually up ahead! and they can see the volcano looming in the distance on the isle ] That must be the place.

[ Han you're so cheerful about everything right now that your opinion has stopped counting. Rey doubles back from the bow of the boat and moves to the lip in the low bulwark that opens up for ramps and dock-access, anticipating an even line. She waits until Han steadies it to climb out. ]

[Miles disembarks as well, taking a quick look around the dock but he's...clearly distracted by the volcano (spot 5).]

We should meet up with the authorities, see what they've got about the crime scene. [ the island is actually pretty busy, tourists and locals alike visible up and down the strip of shops and docks. ]

[Don't mind Poe as he's lifting his baby, I mean BB-8, out of the boat and onto the dock. The droid whistles a few times, his optic sensors scanning the island and then going to roll off and explore just a bit ahead of him]

I can walk around with BeeBee-Ate and see if he can get a match to the face he scanned from that photo Rey showed us.

[ rey gives poe the "good idea!!!" nod, then turns her attention to jaina: ]

Would we be better off finding a station or meeting them at the crime scene, do you think?

Personally, I'd like to see it with my own eyes.

Agreed. Maybe we'll notice something they missed.

[The corner of Han's mouth twitches up and he nods.] Sounds like a plan. Whatever authorities looked at it initially wouldn't've known what to look for.

I guess I'll call you guys then if we find anything, and meet you there?

I'll keep my phone on. [ She turns her gaze up the side of the volcano. ] For the rest of us ... I think we've got a lot of climbing to do. [ She's gonna set off towards it on that note. Better get started. ]
