Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already somehow.

[ how many times can alice forget her card? ...oh nope, there it is. success!! she skips in wearing a boston college eagles tee shirt with one of will's dogs at her heels. he curls up at her feet when she plops down in one of the chairs and flattens her newspaper against the table to keep reading. ]

[Having dug out her phone to check her email, Frankie looks up from over the rim of her cup and offers a casual;] Hey. [By way of greeting.

[Her phone gets discarded so she can hold out her hand for he... she? To sniff if it wishes. (H.A 16).]

His name is Chester. [ and he scoots over to frankie without getting up, sniffing her hand before giving it one single lick. ] He hurt his paw trying to jump off the bed so he's having a rough day. But he has a resting bitch face so he looks like that all the time, don't let it worry you.

[ Deryn had fallen back to nocturnal ways, so he made his way in a little tired and it showed. His hair was in its usual wild style with the feathers in. He moved to take a seat and stayed quiet for now.]

It's all good. [Straining to scratch behind his ear once she's gotten the universal dog signal for, I'm not presently thinking about biting your fingers off.]

[Sara walks in and apparently had almost the same thought as Frankie, but instead of coffee, Sara has a travel mug full of hot tea with her.

Taking a seat, she nods in greeting to everyone.]

[ wynn enters shortly after sara, making his way around to the other side of the table ] Thank you all for coming.

Your mission connects to a case that occurred nearly a year ago, one with which Sir Lincoln was involved. You remember, Sir Lincoln, the strange transmissions that led you to the discovery of a toy being sold in New York City that was conducting illegal surveillance of the homes to which it was taken?

Yeah, Bunbun. We couldn't pinpoint where the transmissions were coming from, but I think Lis'sa and the Dragon's Hoard managed to shut it down.

They did. However, a similar message has become being relayed over the same frequency - this time encoded.

I'm guessing that's where we come in... what's needed?

[theshadowspeaks]

[ Deryn nodded even though he was a little confused.]

What we've cracked of the code so far seems to indicate that something is going to be happening in New York again. We've managed to translate something dealing with a railroad track.

[ why is it always new york. why does alice always have to go to new york. ]

No hope they narrowed it down to which one?

They have, actually. The Metro-North.

[ alice has no idea what that means so she just googles it (computer use 19). and is horrified to discover that, ] Ew, it goes to New Jersey. [ her failed will save is what makes her continue. ] I heard someone got an STD from a rest stop bathroom. [ a beat. ] Which is not relevant to literally any of this right now.

[ she gently places her phone down on the table. ] So what do you want us to do?

[ Deryn blinked a bit, looking shocked.] That kind of stuff really happens?

[She comes so close to getting sidetracked by the whole STD thing but I guess potential disasters in New York is enough to see her let it go. (WS 19).]

Encrypted signals and railroad tracks.... Guessing shutting down that line is out of the question. What with the whole, 20 billion people who live in Manhattan?

You'll need to get to the site and use our decryption program to try to translate any further messages that come through. Beyond that, you'll need to respond to the situation as it unfolds.

Sir Lincoln, I'd like for you to head this matter, given your previous experience.

[ her mouth pops open in faint surprise, but she nods easily. ] Okay, sure. I can do that.
